My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Norwalk, CT, USA
DVCC is an incredibly dynamic agency that offers comprehensive legal, counseling, and safe house services to victims of IPV. Its Peace Works programs reach a majority of the school children in our area with violence prevention education. It offers vital training to teachers and administrators, police and judges, doctors, nurses, and EMT's. DVCC is active locally and state-wide in advocating for stronger laws and more effective practices for victims and potential victims.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The people are great. The mission is always clear and vitally important.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Incredibly dedicated and highly professional. They are also really nice people.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build a centralized center with safe house, legal, counseling, housing advocacy, medical advocacy, administration, and space for collaborating agencies to deliver services on site.
