My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Klamath Bird Oservatory, Ashland, OR, USA
Provided guidance in organization, management development, strategic planning, product development and fund raising from inception until January 2010. Saw the organization develop scientific prowess, develop tools to help manage bird habitat resources, become a local and national community leader and contributor, build a strong management team and achieve close to $1million in grants.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
participating in it's growth- scientifically, management depth and financially, from start-up to January 2010.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
comitted to the organization and its objectives, professional, fun loving
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
be financially stable and increase its contribution to developing tools and recommendations for the preservation of the environment
Ways to make it better...
My residence was in Ashland, OR (KBO's location) rather than in Vancouver, WA, some 300 miles distant.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
ongoing funding(federal and private) to support research and development efforts
