SHILOH CHARITABLE TRUST
March 28, 2010

Shiloh Horse Rescue is a fabulous facility! The volunteers at Shiloh are experienced horse people who treat the horses with kindness, love and compassion. The facility is in outstanding condition and is neat, clean, free of standing manure and is safe for the horses that reside there. The training program is exceptional. I rate Shiloh as a 5 star rescue.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

so many ways it is impossible to list them all. Shiloh has a huge positive impact on the horses that arrive there after rescue and Shiloh also has a profound impact on the human visitors as well. All feel welcome at Shiloh.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

interacting with knowledgable horse people.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

experiened horse women and men. They were kind, caring, compassionate and down-to-earth.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

increase its number of horses assisted. It could expand its reach across the nation.

Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue, Inc.
March 3, 2010

Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue, Inc is dedicated to saving horses that are bound to be slaughtered for human consumption. They also rescue horses in abuse cases. They were the second equine rescue to be GFAS Accredited. They run an excellent facility, the animals are well taken care of and they are kind to people and animals.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their candid approach to horse rescue. Not animal activists, but real horse rescuers who care about the overall well-being of the horses and do whats best for each horse, based on the horses needs.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

kind, extremely passionate about the horses, willing to teach and also willing to learn.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

spread the message about horse slaughter and why it needs to stop around the country. They could rescue many, many more horses and expand the rescue program.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
