Review for Mission4Maureen, South Euclid, OH, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've known to this wonderful Foundation Mission4Maureen quite a few years ago .I was having Financial issues . After coming home from New York spending almost 2 years . For my sons treatment Chemo,Radiation,Surgery due to Brain and Spinal cord Cancer.I stayed at Ronald McDonald House and NYU Medical Center. When I came home Financial issues got to great to bear . When I contacted this Foundation they were understanding ,Patient and there were no questions as to what you needed the money for. They were just concerned as to how they can help and get your life back on track . Take the stress off of money so you can get back to what is most important taking care of your child . This foundation is most remarkable .They are your sun shine .When you think there is no light at the end of the tunnel .They come from there own trails and tribulations of there daughter thats what makes them special My son is now in remmision and Mission4Maureen is always in my heart.I will do anything I can to help Thank You I Love You

I can't say enough about this extraordinary couple Maya & Edward who started Making Headway Foundation through there own person issues with there daughter who had a Brain Tumor was inspired to help others with the same illness .They have been a great source of Inspiration and strength to my Family. In 2004 when my son was diagnosed with a Cancer Brain Tumor it changed my life forever. What also changed my life was when Dr Allen walked into the Hospital room and said I want you to meet someone .10 years later Making Headway is in my Heart & an Inspiration my Friend a shoulder to lean on Therapeutic for you and your child .The resources they offer are wonderful when you have trouble elsewhere. As they try to strive to eliminate this terrible decease I Thank God for them and support Them.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

My name is Trudy Perkins My son James DelRossi was Diagnosed at 14 with a Non-Germonomous Germ Cell Tumor We were sent to Nyu Medical Center and we also stayed at Ronald McDonald House for a 1 1/2 yrs for Treatment We were in the Kitchen Dinning area at Ronald McDonald House and these people walked in with these applications to fill out for Songs-of-love With everything going on the treatment making him either tired or Ill to weak to eat . This was a wonderful day his eyes lit up made him smile and when your going through this ordeal all you want to do is see your child have some joy . He filled out his profile and waited for the Cd they even personalize it with your picture and when he listened to it he started dancing and made him feel important My son is now 20 and in remmision and he still brings his Songs-of-Love Cd's for people to listen to Music is Healing just like laughter is for your soul you need it to Survive Thank You Trudy Perkins

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The way they go to were the sick children are and give there personal touch
