The Nature Generation
February 12, 2010
I received the Green Earth Book Award from the Newton Marasco Foundation for my novel, The Blind Faith Hotel. Along with other award-winning authors, I was invited to present to groups of students and take part in a celebration which was open to the community, as well as participating in Salisbury University's Children's Writing Conference. I was extremely impressed with the dedication, commitment and creativity of Newton Marasco board members, employees. They are filling an important niche in the environmental community and spreading awareness of the need for a curriculum that encourages sustainability and concern for the world we all share.
