Catholic Relief Services
January 15, 2010

I am so proud to be able to recommend this great Not for Profit Corporation to any one interested in donating to the efforts taking place in Haiti. Catholic relief services has been on the ground in most 3rd world countries long before a major event takes place such as the recent earthquake. The reason is because they see that not only natural disasters are a reason to assist the poor, but daily living experiences of the poor demand daily assistance, not just once a month, or once a year, or once in a lifetime. How about over 50 years of service in Haiti. Good and faithful servant of God!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Continue to bring God's relief to those who now will suffer immessurable pain due to the earthquake, and their poverty. It does not matter why they are in such poverty so much as that They Are In Such Poverty, and that demands our attention.

I had a stroke in 2005 and also had one leg and arm amputated. I was side swiped by an automobile last year while riding in my electric chair on a street in Sumter. when Mr. Wood noticed me being pushed in a chair by a leggally blind friend of mine he stopped and asked if he could help. He took my broken chair to a repair center and brought me a loaneer electric chair to use until my chair is repaired, at no cost to me! I am free, and very happy.
