Review for EMPOWERED LIFE TEMPLE, La Crosse, WI, USA

Rating: 1 stars

My experience with Empowered Life Temple is shameful. As a religious organization it has failed in God's work! Most of its members; which is about 7, were deceivers and being missed lead my it's leadership.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their first summer day camp, CAMP AAMAN!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

judgemental and self-serving, outside of a few I met during Camp AAMAN.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

find a non-evil location to worship and seek education and training of their leaders.

Ways to make it better...

the leadership's heart was true and they didn't meet and talk to others in secret about other members.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

being non-judgemental, forgiving and living as God teaches.

One thing I'd also say is that...

changing their name to receive funding is un-Godly.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

Review for PROJECT FINE INC, Winona, MN, USA

Rating: 1 stars

My experience with Project Fine has been disappointing. Their community involvement has been little or none. Their youth programs haven't produced any community results and their collaboration with other local non-profits, such as AAMAN is nonsupporting.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Nothing!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

self-serving.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

pay its director more.

Ways to make it better...

Project Fine would collaborate with all local youth organizations and non-profits and not just with local higher education institutions.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

collaborating, creating a valuable youth program, sharing and participating in other local non-profit youth programs and responding to individuals when contacted with personal news and information.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Project Fine, Inc. need Restoration!

Review for AFRICAN AMERICAN MUTUAL ASSISTANCE NETWORK INC, La Crosse, WI, USA

Rating: 5 stars

It is with a life long commitment to learners and a strong call to advocacy of people in low-income families that I wish to serve Camp AAMAN by sponsoring a child to attend Camp AAMAN. The African-American Mutual Assistance Network is addressing the need of communities that are lacking programs that assist low-income households during a most vulnerable time for kids (Summer). Providing a safe and fun learning environment at little or no cost to these low-income parents to send their children to a day camp is a service worth supporting.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the professional Certificate I received of the child I sponsored. Little Caleb is a handsome young boy sharing his likes and dislikes and thanking me for his sponsorship.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

experienced and excited about the Camp and very understanding about the parent's situation.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

find a better camping location and environment.

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to call-to-action my colleagues in supporting and sponsoring kids-to-camp.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

finding a better camping location and environment.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Camp AAMAN is the best!
