National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty
September 25, 2008
As a volunteer, I am impressed by the knowledge
and dedication of the staff.
NLCHP uses legisltation,education & litigation
to ensure the rights of homeless children to
education, prevent eviction and denial of
housing to domestic violence victims, protect
the civil rights of homeless people, advocate
for the right to housing and the aviability
of social services for homeless people.
The staff is constantly evaluating the impact
of it's services, and setting future goals.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Legislation passed to ensure the educational rights of homelss children,
housing protectionsfor domestic violence
victims in VAWA 20005 law.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Feeling that I have assisted some homeless people
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Professonal and deicated
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
