CENTER FOR LIVING ETHICS
December 8, 2009

This is a one of the Metroplex’s most unique – yet unsung – schools. A cooperative community school and learning center for adults, families, and PreK-6th grade children located north of Dallas, Texas in Fairview near Allen and McKinney. A group of dedicated teachers and volunteers create learning environment based on Waldorf and Montessori principals focusing on green energy, sustainable environmental solutions, nature preservation, arts and humanities. There is a community organic garden and scholarships are available fro those in need.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the people and the creativity.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

exceptional. I admire the dedication that people who come serve in this community exhibit. The level of support and responsibility is unprecedented, in my opinion.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand and serve even bigger number of families. Finish a water catchment, solar energy and a green house project & expand it's community garden to serve local area pantry, plus build a music studio for children. Publish it's Teaching Stories Curriculum.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
