My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Cheyenne Interfaith Hospitality Network Inc (Interfaith Family Support Services), Cheyenne, WY, USA
The longer I volunteer, the more I think this is a valuable community program. If we didn't have the volunteer force in place, some of the families would be on the streets, perpetuating the awful cycle of poverty. We need to grow and continue in efforts to coordinate with other agencies and programs involved with the homeless. Since joining the volunteer force, we have seen at least 4 other Church communities come on board. We continue to try for 12 host Churches. Kudos to the Cheyenne Interfaith Program !
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
getting to know new people in my own Church, our partner Church and to know the homeless families.
Ways to make it better...
more volunteer individuals were involved in the program.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
hiring qualified caseworker to work directly with the families.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
