I became aware of F∙E∙G∙S through a flyer posted in my library when I was searching for a job after having been laid off more than 14 years ago. The flyer was for the Displaced Homemaker program. After placing a call to them, I was accepted into the program where I was able to update my computer skills and gain the confidence to go out on interviews. Upon completion of the program I was very fortunate to be hired by F∙E∙G∙S as a per diem employee. Several months later I was hired as a part-time employee and eventually as a full-time employee. F∙E∙G∙S turned out to be a godsend in my time of need.
I am now starting my 15th year with F∙E∙G∙S and have witnessed its tremendous growth. When you hear words of appreciation from people who have received help from F∙E∙G∙S you know we are definitely doing something right.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my connection with the Displaced Homemaker program. I was accepted into the program and re-trained to enter the workforce. Upon my completion of the training I was hired by FEGS.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
continue the programs in existence and expand into other areas in their quest to assist people in need.
