I have been a client of Independence Center since Jan 2010 and recently I have been able to go back to work full time. This place really works and I recommend it to any seriously mentally ill person who really wants to get better, get off disability, and go back to work. It took me awhile but Independence Center helped me work through the work issues that were holding me back through supported employment where they were on the job helping me figure out how to relate to my co-workers and do my job. Now I have an important full time job with U.S. Bank and can support myself. What better testimony can you get?

I was a Social Worker not making much money and Justine Petersen Housing Corp helped me buy a home in 2001. My loan is at a good interest rate and my neighborhood is great. I have been in my house awhile now and I recommend this organization to everyone I run into so they can get a great house, too.
