My son has been attending 826Chi / The Boring Store in Chicago, for the past five years. He will continue to attend until the cut off age, which, I believe, is 18 years old. At which time, my son will be a life-long volunteer at 826CHI. It has been here at 826CHII that my son has learned to fly !! He is now able, thanks to 826CHI and the beautiful people who work here, past and present, to write ANYTHING at the drop of hat. Whether it be peotry, documentary, fiction, comics, interviews, you name it, my son now has the ability, knowledge, and confidence to successfully complete any writing that he sets out to do. We are both very grateful and blessed to have found 826CHI when my son was a young boy. It has made all the difference for him with his school work, too. He is now able to write anything without feeling frustrated or intimidated.

My son and I are vey grateful to have learned about the Midtown Educational Foundation. Everyone who works at Midtown takes special pride in what they do for the students and for the families which they serve. What my child learns at home from me and my family is being reinforced at Midtown through love and positive guidance from the teachers. As a parent, I have made many new friends at the parent classes which Midtown offers. As my son learns from his teachers and classmates, I also learn during this same time, with my teacher and fellow parents who also attend the meetings. Midtown Education Foundation is a very generous and loving place to be. Thank you so much for everything that you do, Midtown, in the honor of the students and families. My son and I run to Midtown twice a week, excited by the new things that are being learned !
