I am familiar with the work of Catholic Charities and the impact it has in helping the poor and most needy. I read the agency's newsletter and has impressed me. Especially reading about the personal stories of clients lives that have changed, because of employment, housing, and legal services. As a young person I appreciate how the agency deals with violence in cities like Richmond and Oakland, communities that are plagued by ongoing violence.
