I have been involved with CORD since 2009. I have always found it to be an amazing organization. CORD focuses on empowering women, children, and communities. CORD assists people in the rural villages in India to develop skills that can help them to live better and more productive and satisfying lives. This is remarkable! CORD does not focus on only charitable giving but rather on helping people to have sustainable skills and sustainable prosperity. CORD is successful in its endeavors via literacy programs, empowerment groups, skills groups, microfinance, etcetera. The leader of CORD Dr. Kshama Metre is an inspiration for all those who come into contact with her, for she has dedicated her life to this cause.
