The ILC is an excellently managed non-profit organization and it does important work in the community by offering free english classes to immigrants. It also has a drama program and other initiatives (such as encouraging immigrants to speak up to police re: suspicious behavior) that increase the students' confidence and sense of belonging in the community. The ILC makes excellent use of donations from private and public sources. The staff is high caliber and hard-working. The CEO/Executive Director takes no salary or compensation. My sense is that the organization does not overspend on fundraising and development personnel/efforts -- The ILC's good works speak for themselves.
