I have never seen such a small amount of people make such a large difference. The staff of the Hepatitis B Foundation are dedicated and tireless. As the only non-profit organization dedicated to people with hepatitis B, they realize that they are responsible for being the voice of over 2 million Americans who are affected by hepatitis B infection! As such, the Hepatitis B Founation makes as much noise as possible to make sure that these 2 million folks, who live with a life-threatening disease that is stigmatized and gets very little attention from the media or medical community, are not forgotten. From research, to advocacy, to direct patient assistance, education, and free community screenings and vaccinations, the Hepatitis B Foundation is changing lives both locally, nationally and internationally. They won't quit until until every patient has the medical care they need, and into the future when we finally find a cure!
