I became a volunteer at LCAR when I moved to Oregon almost 2 years ago. It is a way of giving back to all the horses I have owned and loved. No one is paid for anything, work or donations. We get nothing from the county or state to support the horses that are siezed and all the medical and feed is a gift to bring them back to health. Everyone gives their all for the horses. Many are permanent residents as they have medical issues, but we give our all to make their lives happy. It is very rewarding work.
