Project WET doesn't just raise awareness for water and sanitation issues worldwide, it gives tools to teachers and improves their methods so that they may carry on the chain of water education for many generations to come. Moreover, children who have learned about the importance of water in the classroom then become vectors for catalysing change within their own home environments. Project WET has touched millions in this way, in many different languages and cultures, putting education at the forefront of the effort to provide water and sanitation for all.
