Review for Eden Village Camp, Brooklyn, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Wow! Eden Village Camp fills me with such hope and nachas. The staff, volunteers and participants are some of the most talented, spiritual, inspiring people I've met. EVC is going to enrich the lives of some of the luckiest kids on the planet, as they learn the deep spiritual truths about the planet and all life on it.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The people who came to help are amazing.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated, talented, serious, fun, real.

Ways to make it better...

My son was old enough to go there!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Maintaining a strong, steady yet flexible center in all the excitement.

Review for Jewish Farm School, Philadelphia, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have enjoyed learning with JFS people (particularly Simcha). I am excited and impressed by their work/collaboration with Eden Village Camp. So many Jews today find their spirituality and divine connection in working in the earth. JFS is indispensable in aiding them.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

That they are connecting environmental work and love of the earth and all Creation to Judaism.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

So many more disconnected and unaffiliated Jews, particularly younger ones, could have a place that spoke to them, deep in their souls.

Review for ALEPH-ALLIANCE FOR JEWISH RENEWAL, Philadelphia, PA, USA

Rating: 4 stars

As a young person who wandered away from Judaism looking for spiritual experience, it was Aleph and Reb Zalman who showed me it was all in Judaism, in deep and real ways. Thus my life changed and led me to the path I currently trod.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

so celebratory

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

helpful, well trained, passionate, real.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Oy, the people that would benefit by Aleph being able to pay more staff, get the word out and produce more retreats and printed material.

Ways to make it better...

It wasn't so expensive to attend some of the workshops.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Making a deeper connection with the next generation.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month
