It is difficult for me to put this experience in words. I never thought that I would feel so at home so far from where I grew up. Living in Musa village for 6 weeks was an experience that changed my outlook on life, on education, and the importance of our youth. There are many organizations to volunteer with, and I came across One Heart Source unexpectedly, but now I can see that it was for a reason. Getting the opportunity to be completely immersed in a culture and to become part of a family is incomparable to anything I have experienced, and something that makes this organization truly unique. You can not make a difference unless you live with the people, speak their language, and share their ideas.
