I have struggled for 30 years with a debilitating mental illness. Though I have worked with many talented therapists over the years, I have been hospitalized and the best I can say is that traditional medicine has been helpful but has in no way cured my PTSD + depression. Through MAPS's help I am vastly improved, and can see my way to complete healing over the next few months. A year ago, I had not even heard of MAPS. This sounds miraculous, but it happened to me. I hope I can someday make a big donation to this extraordinary organization. I don't quite owe them my life, but my life is immeasurably better because of MAPS. This is what Steve Jobs would term an "insanely great" group of people.
