J'Burgh
May 24, 2011

JBurgh serves a vital role in the Pittsburgh region by bringing together young Jewish professionals through community events, social networking, and cultural programming.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Finding an employee and attending Friday night services/dinners, volunteering, etc.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Have more volunteer activities

MY ROLE:
Client Served & Participated in numerous events.

J'Burgh

J'Burgh has been a fantastic group for my wife and me since moving back to Pittsburgh in 2007. We have connected with the young Jewish community through Friday night dinners (and had the privilage of hosting one!), gotten involved in volunteering, made new friends while taking part in citywide sports, and become involved in local synagogues through their support. We couldn't say enough good things about the group and David Katz in particular.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

many ways: as a member of the group, as a host of a community Friday night minyan, as a participant in events and services

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the connection to a religious community within a social setting.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated, hard-working, and in-touch with the needs of the community.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Offer aliyah to Israel for more people, have a dedicated office/event facility, have a scholarship program.

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to spend at events

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Finding and growing leaders like David Katz.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009
