This is an amazing organization that is devoted to helping bats. I found their website not only educational but also very interesting and touching. Reading about the start of this organization and “sunshine’s” story tugged on my heart strings. Taking on the task of helping permanently injured bats is a huge responsibility and I respect Amanda Lollar for doing it. I loved the teacher and kid pages of the site. Also the myth and facts page was very helpful for a class project. If I lived in Texas I would definitely volunteer for this organization and hopefully one day soon I can make a donation and help bats that are in need. I have recently become aware of how important bats are to nature and our economy and also recently I have decided to study bats as my major. As I explored the site I noticed the “wall of shame” and was surprised to see the movie “the expendables 2” on there since I liked the first so much. I will defiantly not see the second. I would love to visit Bat World on day as well as Bat Castle.
