In Dec. 2010 I inquired about adopting an Africian grey. Well as it happened De had a rescue of a "package deal" I was like huh me I could never own a Macaw! The deal was these two birds ha to stay togetther it was and african grey AND a catalina macaw! I fostered them for a short period and then decided I could bar to let them go. So we fully adopted them. De was a great help with the ins and outs of keeping these birds safe in an enviroment that these BEAUTIFUL animals deserve!
