In behalf of National Relief Charities, we thank you for your comment. You bring up a misperception we hear periodically. NRC is a Native American serving charity. Although not Native owned or operated, our mission and 100% of our focus is on serving Indian country. All of NRC's business decisions are made with the goal of providing the most goods and services to the reservations. Part of this means having a call center in the Philippines to help keep costs down. When these representatives call, some people assume they are Native American, or should be Native American, because they work for NRC. But that should not to be expected. NRC is an equal opportunity employer. If you have any more questions, please feel free to call 800-416-8102 or email info@nrcprograms.org.
