My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for World Vets, Gig Harbor, WA, USA
I have been on 5 different trips with World Vets now, helping both large animals and small animals, and I'm planning to do more. I've enjoyed seeing different parts of the world and having the opportunity to help people and animals in each country. I love working closely with the local veterinarians and humane societies, this is an experience of getting to know the locals and I feel like I learn so much more about the culture (and their animals) than if I were to go to this country on my own.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I know it is not always possible, but it would be nice to know that we are helping to educate the local vet and making a lasting impact on the local animals in that way.

I have improved my surgery skills with the number of spays and neuters I could do. I've also enjoyed learning the interesting cultural differences in each area and meeting amazing people who all believe strongly in helping animals as I do.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
These trips have all been very fulfilling experiences.
