The Buddy Foundation is a no-kill animal shelter in the northwest suburban area of Chicago. We had been donating to the shelter for many years, and then 2 years ago when our own dog passed away, we adopted a Golden Retriever from The Buddy Foundation. We were immediately impressed with the quality of care that they give their animals. Our dog had a hematoma on his ear and they made sure that it was surgically corrected before they released him to us. They are also extremely careful in their selection process to ensure that their animals are going to a protective and caring home.
