Review for Aid For Africa, Inc, Chevy Chase, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've had a pleasure of working with Aid for Africa as a representative of a member organization for the past three years, and I could not be more impressed. AFA is a truly innovative coalition with strong, creative leadership at the helm. I'm particularly grateful for the AFA GIrls Education initiative, which benefits nonprofits who are working on the ground, increasing the number of girls enrolled in and completing school. Keep up the good work, AFA!

Review for Aid For Africa, Inc, Chevy Chase, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Aid for Africa is an excellent organization that provides over 85 member NGOs with a unique opportunity to collaborate on issues specific to Africa. For example, every year members are brought together for a day-long workshop with guest speakers, group discussions, and a chance to connect with like-minded nonprofits. Member NGOs like the one that I work for - Maasai Girls Education Fund - also enjoy the benefit of participating in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). In every respect, Aid for Africa is an exceptional model for effective and efficient nonprofit work.

Review for 5 For Fairness, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Five for Fairness is a truly innovative and inspiring model for social change. My organization, Maasai Girls Education Fund, has interacted regularly with 5 for Fairness since February 2012, and we have been met time and again with respect, enthusiasm, and helpfulness. The feeling of community and connection is the most unique feature of 5 for Fairness, as they work to create a space of open communication and learning. It is without hesitation that I recommend this organization.

Review for Maasai Girls Education Fund, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Maasai Girls Education Fund is, without a doubt, the most effective small nonprofit I support. As a donor, I know that my contribution is positively impacting young Kenyan girls and their communities. What a gift to know that as little as $10 can send several children to a Life Skills workshop. When the President, Barbara Lee Shaw, sends updates, I learn exactly how MGEF is changing lives, and how I am a part of that change. I wholeheartedly encourage others to join the cause.
