My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Animal Rescue and Adoption Society, Denver, CO, USA
I started volunteering for this organization when I saw how they were able to do so much with so little. A genuine no-kill shelter who preserves the life of any animal capable of living a healthy life, RMFR is a true gem. The animals are not caged and are given their own space according to their special needs ( Shy, FIV+, kitten etc;) In addition, each of these groups has their own space outdoors. It's great to seethe kitties basking in the sun, climbing small trees and having space to run. They are a diamond in the rough in the Denver community!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Seeing senior/special needs cats get adopted where they would have been euthanized immediately in a standard shelter.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
spread the word!
