Let me say first off, that I founded Project195 and continue to run it everyday.I would of put that as my role, but that wouldn't be the truth.Project195 is a "hands-on" charity.Period.There is not one beauracrat on our staff.Everybody's hands get dirty. Every mission I've led or assisted with project195 has been a wonderful experience, not only for me, but those I've worked with. The work details went smoothly, and the results were evident, after evry day.I've made some good friends along the way from all over the country in the process. I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt, that anyone who has worked with us in the past, or in days to come, will tell you that we are the genuine article. I invite all to experience the act of true charity, by donating some of their time to the hardest working charity around.Project195 will be leading over 100 people to New Orleans this fall, alone! Please see the short bio after this review.. If you're ready to get in the game, come join one of the fastest growing forces of good on Earth!Join Project195 today. Project195 was concieved in Oakland, New Jersey in 2008, after Pat Tirri, and David "DT" Skoblar realized that their children and others all over the world would have a more troubled future than the generations before them, without action.Project195 was named for the 195 countries recognized by the United Nations, to emphasize the point that all countries are in our scope regarding aid, whether environmental, or humanitarian. Project195 is an action based Eco/Humanitarian charity, as one recent new member eloquently exclaimed," You've only been around for two years? You've done more in two years than most charities do in a decade!"Every penny goes to the task(s) at hand. One task is getting people to where they're needed, and doing the most good as possible.Others include education, regarding the environment, waste reduction, and energy conservation, to name a few. Over the past two years we have organized and led community clean ups, held public forums on water conservation, filmed a television show about green tips around the home, and have led several trips to the greater New Orleans area, to assist in Katrina restoration, and have helped rebuild four homes and one church to date. And we're only just beginning! Throughout the next calendar year, we will be leading teams to New Orleans, Haiti, and Ghana, combatting hunger, thirst, and famine which kill sixteen children every minute, of every hour, of every day. We are very excited to be partnered with Security One this November in gving much relief to wetlands, bayous, and their natural inhabitants which have been devastated by the recent BP disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Please join Project195 and Security One on this bold initiative, either through joining us in New Orleans, this November 2nd, or supporting this amazing act of American goodwill, through donation or sponsorship. Thank you. Regards, David Skoblar

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Seeing families in the homes I helped build, the previous year.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

expand to more chapters in the U.S.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the fact that I'm a member of a team.Not just a number.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all very helpful and engaging.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the world, as we know it.They are relentless.

Ways to make it better...

I didn't try the "mildly hot" gumbo

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Fundraising.

One thing I'd also say is that...

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010-5-01
