In my experience with Himalayan Children's Charities, I have been extremely impressed. Their commitment to children in Nepal is praiseworthy and their continuing hard work deserves recognition. From their organizational best practices to the on-the-ground love and support I've observed them provide to their students, HCC is an outstanding nonprofit. I became involved with this organization after the April 2015 earthquakes in Nepal, and when I approached them about the possibility of supporting the education of children in the villages who had lost parents in the quakes, they were willing to help. Now, we are collaborating in order to provide resources and support to dozens of children in very remote areas of Nepal. With this earthquake relief initiative, I have been particularly moved - not only by the heartfelt commitment to this work by the organization's directors and supporters - but also by the excellent leadership skills exhibited by the Nepali students in their program in Kathmandu. Thank you to all who help to make this work possible!
I have enjoyed learning and supporting the work of HCC. I appreciate and impressed by the effort made to provide a platform to support children who at one point did not have hope for a better future. What I have observed with HCC is an opportunity for children to thrive, have dreams, and evolve in their country in a way that was once thought impossible. I look forward to supporting HCC more and seeing what differences are further made with the kids. How this platform changes lives and the environment in the country.
