I signed up to foster with FBRN last year. I took in a cute frenchie all the way from TX. This organization is nation wide, so they have it broken out into regions. I was not in the same region as TX. But I got this dog because no one in that state or surrounding states wanted her. She was dumped in a shelter with a possibility of her not getting along with anyone. I have a small toddler, other dogs and a cat. The organization allowed me to have her knowing all of this. When they wouldn't let me have one that lived down the street from me because I had a child and that dog was food aggressive. So I take the dog from TX, take care of her and give her anything and everything she needs. She goes to the vet and turns out she had a cancer lump that got removed and all is well. But that organization deemed her on the hospice list. There were other dogs that got new homes in the same circumstance. I accepted that she will be with us forever, we love her so it worked out. Year end comes around and I request a tax letter of donation of all the things I've provided for her. They refuse to give me a letter for anything other than vet care. They sent me lots of emails refusing to do so and even sent me links from the irs website that states that they have to...which I found odd. Then they gave me an ultimatum to adopt her or else. I obviously adopted her because this organization doesn't know what they are doing and we love her. I have been kicked off of every form of social media from them because they don't like that I speak up. Please don't give them your time or money.
Not really sure about FBRN anymore. We have adopted 4 Frenchies from FBRN between 2004 and 2013. All were wonderful and deeply loved members of our family. We have donated, fostered, and advocated for this organization for the better part of two decades, even including them in our estate planning, and all of our dogs were given the utmost care and love that all creatures in our care deserve, regardless of cost and sacrifice.
When we lost our beautiful Bella in March of 2021, we were crushed. The house and our hearts felt so empty. We grieved, mourned, and did our best to get on with it.
After months of prayer, discussion, and healing, we decided it was time to open up our home and hearts to another fur-baby! We searched for the one we felt would be the best fit for the doggie as well as us, and applied for her.
The experience was not what it used to be in the past, and was disappointing to say the least.
We received a form-style letter which read that she had been awarded to another home. While we are overjoyed that this precious little girl has finally found a forever home, this was devastating news for us. In searching ourselves for a reason, any reason why we were not selected, we could not figure out why. It is still unclear, because FBRN did not do a home-check, and I found out from all the references (including our vet) that NO ONE FROM FBRN even took the time to call them!
This is not the FBRN of days gone by. Think twice before putting your hearts on the line for a doggie from them.
For now, the bed by the window awaits. Hopefully, we will find a precious pooch through an organization that really cares.
I rescued my frenchie 4 yrs ago now. My first frenchie. Had a great experience with the rescue and highly recommend them. Thank you!! We are a very much so happy family.
BEWARE!!! UNETHICAL LEADERSHIP.
I have been an FBRN volunteer since 2008. In February of 2021, I said goodbye to our third foster. She was my favorite foster. She was the sickest and had the most miraculous recovery. I wish i could say selecting her forever home was as pleasant. We were relentlessly BULLIED when selecting the forever home. Through our foster coordinator, we received relentless texts and calls directly from the FBRN President pressuring us to give the dog to her friend and fellow FBRN volunteer. We were explicitly told that we could not apply for our foster because as a rescue, it looks bad when the “heathy young dogs” were frequently adopted by volunteers and not by the public. It risked the validity and non-profit standings of the rescue. We understood. Our only goal has always been to rescue and help Frenchies. So how is it that the President relentlessly tried to bully us into a selecting a volunteer who has already adopted THREE other FBRN dogs?!! When we didn’t select this volunteer we were immediately informed of her disappointment. We were also told in so many words what were not the President’s favorite people.
We only did what we volunteered to do. Love Frenchies and choose the best forever homes. We did just that. We do not appreciate being questioned and being bullied into choosing a home we didn’t feel was the best home. It was a complete double standard.
My good friend Denise lost her beloved boy Moose to cancer recently and this donation is a small token of my love for her, Moose and this wonderful breed. Thank you for all you do.
I volunteer for FBRN for about 6 years. I transported, fostered, adopted, donated, and will continue to do so for as long as I can. FBRN is amazing! The amount of effort that goes into helping Frenchies that are lucky enough to to find its way to FBRN is astounding. We work as a team, helping abandoned, unwanted or sick dogs that otherwise would be PTS and I am proud to be a part of something as great as this rescue! Do not support puppy mills! Do not buy, adopt!

Do you have an close friend that you don't get to see often but yet know that no matter what this friend will come to your rescue no matter what? Well, FBRN is like that. I am FBRN Volunteer and Frenchie lover. I foster and and have adopted our foster, Lola from FBRN. FBRN is extremely dedicated to make sure that every dog that comes across has excellent care, latest treatment options and best foster parents possible. The amount of support and dedication is truly incredible. Because of their support Lola went from bold hot mess to a beautiful healthy looking in just a couple of months. A+ across the board.
Adoptions with FBRN are a JOKE! We have applied many times and weren’t even called once despite having met all the requirements listed in the applications - and then some. No doubt they have someone in mind prior to listing. The whole process is an unregulated, unscrupulous sham. Ended up with a breeder thanks to FBRN. Never EVER again. Paid close to $4k for a puppy - money which I could have offered to FBRN.
I adopted two frenchies from them and now volunteer as a foster as well as transport. Love the thorough adoption process to make sure they go to great homes!

I have only been a volunteer for a couple of years. In that time I have learned from so many of the people who volunteer and help with this organization. It is very well organized and professionally run with nothing in mind but helping Frenchies find their forever homes. Many things are done for these dogs before they are ready to be adopted but it is all done with love and with the help of people who donate to get them the medical and proper care they need to find their perfect homes. Without the help of so many volunteers and those who are so very generous and donate to help us, many of these dogs would not survive. I am so very proud to be associated with this organization.
We have fostered, transported and adopted with FBRN...amazing organization! My employer helped raise funds for a Texas Frenchie last year and we will continue to volunteer with FBRN!!!
FBRN is such an incredible organization! I first adopted, and then became a volunteer. The way the Network comes together is amazing. Although I haven't met the majority of the people in the Network, I feel as I have known them forever.
We adopted our French Bulldog from FBRN in 2014. It was and continues to be the most amazing experience. I continue to be in contact with his foster mom and the FRRN grads and families Facebook page keeps the adoptive families in touch providing the ability to get advice and support when needed.

We adopted our Frenchie boy Thorin from FBRN. From the phone interview to the home visit everyone was professional sand had the best interest of Thorin in mind. We are very blessed to be part of such an amazing organization and have been chosen to be his forever parents. We still keep in touch with his foster mom!
Review from Guidestar
Application process was fairly simple, straight forward and gave me a chance to be creative.
I was actually selected as a candidate and I was impressed with the phone and in person interviews. This organization is very well organized and the network very tight. The amount of care that goes into the foster program is unbelievable. The post adoption network is also very vocal; sharing different tips, photo's and experiences that the dog(s) have in their respective "furever" homes.
We adopted Miss Lola from FBRN three years ago, she is one of the best things that has ever happen to us. All she wants is Love and she bring us so much more. I will never purchase a puppy again, always will adopt❤️
We filled an application and were chosen to adopt our sweet little Brooklyn (aka Seneca). We are forever grateful to her foster mom for choosing us to take this girl home. We cannot believe that someone could have given her up ❤️ FBRN had someone come out to vet us and our home. We were nervous! Our Frenchie, Bogart, was happy to have a sister to play with, and thanks to the FBRN protocol to introduce them properly, Brooklyn loves him too. Thank you FBRN !!!!
FBRN is amazing. We adopted our Max Grad ‘13 Slider. This is by far the best organization we have adopted from. When you adopt from this organization you know exactly what you dogs needs are and what to expect going forward.

We adopted Max (aka Slider 2013) from FBRN. They were so thorough with their interviews and I can't say enough good things about them. I was asked to attend the FBRN May summer bash to see another dog I was interested in. My hubby and I signed in and off we were to see all the Frenchies and parents you could dream of. It was them I met Letitia and she told me about Max. She said the other doggie was not a friendly kind of dog and that Max was a doggie that need a lot of love and attention as he like to eat things. We then went over to him and never left his side. His foster mommy Andrea explained what he had gone through and that he was not the easiest fellow to deal with, but he would be your love if you let him. 2 years later we still have him and I just adore him. We are ready to adopt another frenchie and I am even thinking of flying to another stat to adopt a pretty girl in Colorado if her foster mommy will let me. You see----the make sure you are the right match for their baby as they have to make sure it is a perfect match for everyone---and to make sure the frenchie is never going to have to leave their forever home. This is by far the best placement and loving group I have ever dealt with and we have adopted boxers and pugs. Other non-profits need to follow their code of ethics and placement as I honestly cannot say how awesome they are!! If you want a frenchie and are willing to wait for your perfect placement and know exactly what type of dog you are trying to adopt. Well FBRN is it

I adopted my girl, Ginny, in 2013. She is a diaper baby and FBRN checked me out to be sure I could handle a special gal. They educated me on possible future for her. Ginny's foster mom is the greatest. Such a loving woman. Ginny has been the best gift for me. With all the loving care she received she is a happy and crazy funny gal. FBRN really cares for their Frenchies and only wants the best for their future forever homes.

Hello, I adopted Ginny in 2013. The FBRN had received her at 4 months of age and had taken care of her through her spayed, FHO surgery and cherry eye surgery. They did all the surgeries and nursed her to where she could walk and run for the first time in her life. Her foster mom was the greatest. I adopted her at 10 months of age and this little girl is full of life and personality. She wears a diaper, which really is not a big issue in her care, as I am so in love with this little girl. FBRN is the best for taking care of Frenchies in need and taking the best care possible of them to ultimately get them in forever homes.

We are blessed to have been selected to be Millie’s furever home! We will always be greatful to FBRN for picking us. They are an amazing organization and doing such great things for Frenchies.
We first came across FBRN in 2014 when we were looking to adopt a new fur baby. Even though the process was very simple, the organization is very thorough and does everything it can to ensure that the pups go to homes where they will truly be cared for. Four years later, we continue to keep up with FBRN through social media and will not hesitate to contact them again when we are ready to expand our family.
Wow where do I begin? Everything about FBRN is wonderful! I adopted my Ellie Mae in 2010, drove from NJ to TN to bring her home. Before Ellie came into my life I had applied to adopt other dogs but was not selected. I started to get disappointed and wondered why I wasn’t being selected but I still would check their site and if one of the dogs seemed to fit our family I would still try. Finally Ellie was going to be part of my family! Well after getting Ellie I saw how much care, cost and organization went into each and every one of these dogs and that’s why adoption wasn’t just a quick here’s your dog process! I saw how many people came together to make things happen for all the dogs and all are volunteers! Because of FBRN I have my Ellie and I have met lifelong friends. I go to local events for FBRN and continue to meet such great people and pups.
I adopted my girl Daya from FBRN. Her transition to my home and specifically the resident frenchie was anything but smooth but everyone was incredibly supportive and willing to help me in any way they could. The organization is run by the most caring and compassionate individuals as evidenced by the lengths they go through to rehabilitate every dog that comes into their care no matter how dire their condition may seem. I thank FBRN everyday for trusting me to care for Daya. Everything about the process was positive and I will continue to support FBRN in any way that I can, they are truly amazing.
After the loss of our you frenchie (Oscar) and a horrible battle with a large on line puppy broker. We decided to adopt. We researched fbrn and fell in love with everything they do. We thought we would get a dog on the first try.
We ended up with the perfect special needs guy on the third application process.
We became volunteers after the first try. We are here for the love of the breed.
If you put the animals outcome first. You will endure the process and end up with the perfect match for you and yours..
It doesn't get better than fbrn. Read all the info on the website.

I hope the person who would rather go to a puppy mill than try again for a rescue dog reads this.
Try Purebred breeders.com.
I made that mistake. They wont ask you any questions. But they will send you a sick or even the wrong dog, My frenchie developed terminal cancer at two. The replacement dog was deaf. with features that should have been red flagged by purebred.
I am currently trying to adopt a dog through fbrn. If I don't get the dog, Then they probably found a better match. (I hope not).
Thank you fbrn for being so thorough
I am a volunteer with the FBRN and just finished my first foster. I couldn't be more impressed with this organization. The dedication that they have to the animals in need is second to none. My particular foster was in dire shape when he first came to me, and they spared no expense for the expensive nights in the ICU, diagnostics, surgeries, medications, and supplements. The FBRN volunteer community is strong and supportive.
FBRN is first and foremost concerned about the dogs. As it should be. Their network is engaged in the cause and unified. I have referred them to many.
I adopted my sweet girl from FBRN. They were very truthful and made sure I was the right person to adopt.
They really care about their babies and go out of their way to make sure the fit between the baby and the forever home is good for both involved.
They answer questions, make recommendations and are so happy to see posts on how well their kids are doing in their new homes.
They are very truthful in every part of the process about the kids.
This rescue is top of the line. They keep the animals and all humans involved at the top of their concerns. FBRN is so through and well organized, they are a great model for all rescues. They helped connect us with our angel Ozzy, and were so thorough and continue to be with his follow up mental and physical health. Super thumbs up.
Having transported, foster and raised funds for FBRN, we can say with conviction that this is a first class organization. We are also proud parents of FBRN grad Omelette!
I have fostered, and volunteered for many years. FBRN is thorough in their screening and leaves no option unexplored, regardless of expense when it comes to care of the dogs. They are a phenomenal organization to work with
I've adopted two Frenchies from this wonderful network. They really care about their Frenchies and take special effort to make sure these dogs get the best medical care before they go to the right home.
I will never recommend this rescue to anyone. I watched a friend and colleague who is a veterinary professional, financially stable, owns their own home and has a ton of frenchie experience get denied not once but twice for a dog from this rescue. I have no idea who would be more well qualified. I don't know what kind of homes you are sending these dogs to if that's the kind of person you deny. Horrible.
What an amazing organization. They truly care about their Frenchies and are thorough with their adoption process. I adopted Tonka Sep. 2015 and since then I have been welcomed into thier Frenchie Family. All the volunteers, fosters and adopters are so nice, helpful and welcoming. If you're interested in adopting a Frenchie, this is the best organization you can find.

My little girl Zoe (2014 FBRN Grad Kourtney) was given up when she was six years old and was lucky enough to find her way to FBRN. Zoe was a tiny package with a big medical problem: megaesophagus. FBRN got her checked out from head to toe, and wrote a thorough description of Zoe and her medical and emotional needs. I just fell in love with her tiny grumpy face instantly. I wrote an impassioned application for her, in which I explained my experience with brachycephalic breeds and my willingness to cater to Zoe's special needs. The organization followed up with multiple interviews (from the foster mom, and the regional coordinator), and an in-home visit/interview from a local volunteer. FBRN's biggest priority was making sure that little Zoe was going to be safe, and loved in her new home, and I appreciated how much care the organization took. I was lucky enough to be chosen as Zoe's mom, and I flew to Louisiana from Washington to scoop my little nugget up! FBRN provided ample information and documentation on how to do a slow intro of Zoe to my other Frenchie, Louis, and had me sign an agreement promising that if for ANY reason I was no longer able to care for Zoe, that I would give her back to FBRN, because once FBRN takes in a pup, they are committed to that pup for life. I think that's so beautiful. I love this organization of passionate volunteers that care for this breed with so much love and dedication, and welcome new parents into the fold with open arms and a Facebook group for FBRN alumni that puts the best Frenchie photos in my feed ALL the time. I heart FBRN, and am forever grateful to them for saving Zoe, and choosing me to be her mom.

This a story about a little 2 yr old spina bifida pied princess frenchie we had the honour of adopting form FBRN 5 yrs ago. Chaya had a significant spinal curve and required diapers. She walked for most of her 7yrs, till her last months, while battling a protein losing disease that wasted her muscles. Through out everything, her love of live, spirit and joy was contagious. I fell in love with Chaya watching the videos that were posted of her...I would burst out laughing with joy ..my husband would come and sit and watch and we fell totally in love with her. Totally utterly in love. We were so fortunate to be chosen to be Chaya's companions. She made our live's fuller and richer and a hell of a lot more fun with her diva can do attitude and a smile that stretched from ear to ear.
FBRN saves lives, many would have put Chaya down without a second thought. FBRN saved her life and many many others. I volunteered with them before adopting Chaya and continue to do so now. It is a small way of trying to help and give back to this great organization.

FBRN is a very ethical organization. Midway through our adoption, the dog we were interested in had a health issue develop. They could have hid this from us but instead they put a hold on the adoption until they resolved the problem at their own cost, and only allowed the process to continue after she was healthy. They have helped so many vulnerable dogs!

We adopted our Frenchie Maggie almost a year ago. I had never heard of this organization before until a friend told me about them. I feel like I won the lottery. They really care about the placement of these animals and that they are safe, happy and well cared for. They are a wonderful group full of love. We are now close friends with Maggie's foster mom. My heart is full thanks to FBRN.

I adopted my sweet, sweet Chloe from FBRN. Their volunteers are exceptional! Chloe's foster mom had her for six months and helped nurse her back to good health allowing Chloe to become comfortable in her home and part of her family. They are thorough in their screening of adoptive forever families. My screening included; a Skype call, an hour plus visit to my home and several phone calls. Chloe came to me in fantastic health and with enough of her food and medicine to get me through several days. Once the adoption was complete her foster mom and the director of adoptions remained available and very willing to help through any questions and growing pains we had together. I would highly recommend this non-profit!

A very dedicated, professional and loving group of people devoted to making sure that french bulldogs of all ages and health conditions get the very best homes and treatment possible. Every breed and mix of dog deserves this kind of attention and love but if you happen to have a soft spot for Frenchies, then this is far and away the best way to participate, help, and maybe even adopt one of these squishy faced rascals!

We adopted from FBRN 9 years ago and can't imagine how different our lives would be without our beloved frenchie Dash! Over the years I have continued to follow FBRN and am constantly impressed with their dedication- they truly go above and beyond and take in dogs who need a LOT of care. They also do an amazing job matching up families and dogs- I'm always so happy when I see an older dog, or dog with several medical or behavioral issues get adopted- that's not easy to do, but it happens regularly through FBRN! They have awesome fundraisers and a hilarious blog and clearly care SO much about what they do. Whenever someone meets Dash and says they've always wanted a frenchie- FIRST I remind them that French Bulldogs aren't for everyone and SECOND I tell them to check out FBRN. :) Thank you for all you do!!
I have volunteered for FBRN over 5 years. They rock! They go above and beyond to help Frenchies in need. I will continue to support the organization 100%. I have seen so many positive stories firsthand. Edward (brindle) found his forever home right here with me.
What a fantastic organization at every level! We have adopted two Frenchies from FBRN and will continue to donate in the future. Since we wanted to adopt handicapped doggies, they were very thorough to make sure we were prepared for the extra care we would need to provide.
FBRN is not in the number business but in the find a loving home for their foster dogs. We can't say enough about this fantastic organization!
Adopted my dog from here in 2014. Wonderful organization. The dogs in their care get every need met and it's like a family that is there for you even after you have adopted.

My frenchie, Locksley, was adopted from FBRN last year. I had him as a foster for almost two years, while we worked on behavior and a few medical issues. The support I received from this organization was incredible! I especially appreciated the little touches, like Bark Boxes and their program to have volunteers send care packages. The provided for all his medical care, as well as personal support for me through the process. Together, we were able to take a dog with little chance for placement, and turn him into a success story. His one year adopt-a-versary is coming up, and we couldn't be happier!

The absolute worst adoption service to deal with. Period. They have taken our "donation" money on several times now and never given us the light of day. They prejudice young working couples (preferring "someone who stays at home all day"), who live in urban environments ("a fenced yard is a must"), and who do not currently have pets ("veterinarian contact information" required). Each time we "donate" along with our application, the application closes immediately afterwards. They wait to collect as much funds from each adoptable dog as possible, already with an adoptive family in mind, before closing the window without word to any of the attempted adopters. I would rather take my money to the seediest puppy mill in the region than "donate" another dime to these people.
Match.com and E-Harmony have nothing on FBRN, where we found our perfect match! We got a call from Nessie's foster mom (the matchmaker) asking us for a "date". We wanted to jump through the phone, but tried to play it "cool"! Just a day later, we were able to meet the little Noodle - and it was love at first sight. Nessie is a LOVER! We were so lucky to be able to adopt her. FBRN is an organization that truly cares about the well being and happiness of the dogs entrusted to them. It has been 6 wonderful years with Nessie now, and I have since become a volunteer for FBRN and have expanded our family by another 3 (uhm, cough, yes, 3!) FBRN Frenchies. The other volunteers and people, who have adopted from FBRN feel like family - we're so glad to be able to be a part of this wonderful group!

I adopted my second French bulldog from FBRN, and I believe that it is one of the best organizations out there. The time and care that goes into preparing each dog for adoption is extraordinary. Their disclosure of each dog's needs and quirks is second to none. They really do their part to ensure that the adopter is informed and prepared, and offer a wealth of support and information to adopters, potential adopters and the public in general.

My life was forever changed in 2008 when I adopted my frenchie from FBRN. After adopting her, I soon realized just how much blood, sweat, and tears FBRN puts into these wonderful little animals, and I felt that I had to pay it forward and become a volunteer myself. This is such a great organization, and I find myself recommending them to people interested in adopting frenchies all the time. It never fails to amaze me how well-managed this organization is, especially for being run solely by volunteers. Such a great group!

When my French Bulldog Rosie passed away, I was devastated beyond belief. My other Frenchie Maggie missed her fur sister as well, so I decided to find her a companion. I was fortunate to find out about FBRN and kept looking for a foster that would be a potential match. I was lucky to be selected as the forever mom for foster Loki (now Jack)! Before the adoption was finalized, an FBRN volunteer did a thorough background check and home visit. On December 24, 2010, I picked my fur baby up from his foster mama and he fit right in.
The FBRN team is amazing - they are always available for advice on health or behavior issues. They stand behind the dogs - if for any reason an adopter can no longer care for their FBRN grad, the rescue will take the dog back. FBRN goes above and beyond - fosters are evaluated and given necessary medical treatment before adoption. They have wonderful events where alumni can get together and work to raise money for the fosters. I will be forever grateful to them for bringing my sweet Jack into my life.

FBRN is an incredible organization that goes above and beyond to ensure their foster dogs receive the best care possible and are placed with the appropriate forever families. From the detailed application process through the home visit and reference checks, FBRN puts the welfare of the dogs first and foremost. Not only that, but everyone I've interacted with in the organization is great. They're always there to answer questions, and are infinitely patient with new "parents". Anyone looking to add a Frenchie to their family should visit FBRN's website. Adopt, don't shop!
I contacted FBRN to apply for a French Bulldog. They absolutely did their homework to insure myself and my home would be a good home for a baby. After their approval I was introduced to the sweetie that wanted to be mine.
Everything they said about my little girl was true and I knew exactly what to expect, My sweet Elle came with her vet records, supplements, toys, bed and harness and leash. Her foster moms let me know her schedule for feeding and how much time she liked to walk. They also knew she liked to take a toy on a walk. My little girl is a happy healthy forever kid and FBRN was very honest and careful with the placement

We adopted our Queenie (Winnie '14) in September of 2014. FBRN was recommended to us by knowledgeable dog trainers and Frenchie lovers in our area. The process was professional and thorough. I didn't expect so many telephone interviews and a home visit! This told me that they were very serious about placing their charges in the right home. We drove from North Georgia to middle Florida to get Queenie. When we picked Queenie up, the foster mom shared very detailed notes with us on the medical needs and behavioral quirks of our new addition. It was very obvious that the foster mom was very loving and took very good care of Queenie (Winnie) during the foster period. We were very impressed with the organization and have been more than happy with our little Queenie. This organization has very special, dedicated workers and volunteers to help orphaned Frenchies.

This rescue truly is a professionally run, fantastic organization that is ALL about the dogs. The network of people who make up FBRN are each dedicated to the health, welfare and future of every dog that 'comes through the doors'.
Having been involved as both a foster and an adopter I can tell you that it is a wonderful organization to deal with. What a wonderful organization! My fiancé and I really wanted a french bulldog but also really wanted to adopt a dog that needed a home. The FBRN is the perfect place to go! They are very selective in the adoption process which is a good thing! They make sure each dog goes to the right home. After applying for a few dogs on their website the perfect girl finally came along. We feel so blessed to have been selected to be her new parents.
The adoption process happen over the course of a month or so. We had a phone interview and then an in-person interview. They were so accommodating to our schedule and location. The best part of this organization are it's foster families! These doggies are taken care of so well. When we arrived to pick her up the foster family had a huge basket of goodies for us to take home. I could tell our girl was really cared for.
Its been 6 months since we adopted her and we are so happy. She is the best dog ever. We are so grateful to FBRN. We will continue to support them over the years and hopefully adopt another dog from them in the future!

We were lucky enough to find the French Bulldog Rescue Network when we began searching for a dog in 2011. I've always wanted a bulldog of some sort, but we were committed to adopting. My extensive pup search led to FBRN. From the first point of contact to our continued involvement in the FBRN Grad group on Facebook, this organization proves time and time again to be extremely impressive. I'm sure that many people find their rigorous adoption policies to be strict or unnecessary, but I always felt that EVERYTHING they do is for the health, safety and welfare of the animals that they serve. I also appreciate that their dogs live with foster families prior to adoption and because of this policy, we knew exactly what we were getting in our Moby. There were no surprises- other than I ended up loving him even more than I thought possible!

FBRN is amazing! They are honest, compassionate and they truly believe in rescue. From the moment you reach out and ask a question, to the entire adoption process, to long after you have adopted - they are there for you. You don't just rescue a French Bulldog in need, you join a forever family of support and understanding! They brought Jake into my life and I am eternally grateful! I was so inspired by them, I became a volunteer!

Earlier this year me and my family decided a French Bulldog would make the perfect addition to our family. While searching online for a breeder I came across the French Bulldog Rescue Network website. After reading about FBRN and the available dog's biographies we decided we would rather rescue than purchase a bulldog from a breeder. In February I flew out to Utah to pick up our sweet little girl. I was so impressed with FBRN that months later I decided I would like to be an active part of this organization. I am now a volunteer and look forward to helping Frenchies in need for many years to come.

I've been a volunteer with this organization since its inception. It's an incredibly rewarding group to be a part of, and everyone takes the well-being of the dogs in our care very seriously. Even as a past board member, my family had a home visit and vet check when we applied to adopt one of the rescues, and that's the way it should be. I will continue to volunteer for FBRN as it is very well run and I am very proud to be a part of it.

Excellent!!! Very organized and has the dogs care and treatment as the #1 priority.

We went thru a rigerous application and approval process. This proved to us how important it is to FBRN to place their dogs in the proper homes. They really care. Very supportive and resourceful. Available beyond the adoption for information and support.

My Zoe,( aka Zenobia 2012) is the light of not only my life but every person she meets. When I finally tell them that she is a Rescue Dog, no one can believe it! Thank you FBRN for this wonderful service for these beautiful dogs. Or in my household, "Furry Child". Also thank you to the Foster Parents of these precious babies, (Zoe's was Kimm Pontiff) for all of their love, affection and attention to these loves before we get the chance to add them to our families. This is a great organization!

FBRN goes above and beyond to make sure these dogs are rehabilitated and find loving forever homes. They are also dedicated to the education and betterment of this breed! Glad to be part of this awesome organization!

I adopted my FBRN grad in 2010. This organization was amazing! They are very organized and take such good care of the Frenchies in their care while looking for new homes. I liked them so much that I signed up to be a volunteer the following year.

I adopted a dog from the French Bulldog Rescue Network in 2012, and was very impressed. All dogs are fully vetted and assessed for behaviors, so you know what you're getting when you adopt. The foster parents stay in touch with the adoptive families - it is clear the volunteers care about the dogs and the rescue.
I adopted a special needs French Bulldog from FBRN in February 2013. After a somewhat rigorous application process, phone interview, and home visit, I was selected as the lucky new mom for my girl! Since this was my first dog-owning experience as an adult, I'll admit I was a little overwhelmed at first. The support system for "grads" at FBRN is phenomenal, and thanks to having my *many* questions answered by more experienced Frenchie owners, my dog is now thriving in her new environment. I really can't say enough good things about my experience with FBRN. Whenever anyone expresses an interest in getting a French Bulldog, I tell them FBRN is the way to go. Adopt, don't shop!
French Bulldog Rescue Network is a solid organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming French Bulldogs. The leaders and volunteers are highly organized and have instilled integrity as a key part of their mission. As a volunteer of three years, I'm always impressed with how thorough the screening processes are for everything from the intake of a dog, new volunteers, foster homes, veterinary care and clear through the fostering home, to the selection of adopters and placement of adopted dogs.
Even though this is an international organization, including the U.S.A. and Canada, the volunteers and staff are in effective communication, organized in the most impressive ways, and everyone is supportive of each other in order to provide the best care for the rescued dogs.
Everyone takes great pride in their jobs as volunteers and staff, and even greater pride in helping at-risk dogs get a chance at a better, healthier and longer life.

I have adopted 2 FBD's from FBRN. I am also a volunteer who just today , has her first foster adopted! This is an extremely dedicated group that is completely focused on rehabilitating/ rehoming dogs and doing whatever needed for EVERY French Bulldog that is surrendered to them. With no regard to age, health, condition, etc. they are the best!
I adopted my sweet pup from FBRN several years ago, and I recommend this organization wholeheartedly! I had a fantastic experience, particularly with his wonderful foster mom, who we still send updates and pictures to years later. My dog has changed my life! FBRN gave me such a wonderful gift. The application process was thorough and required effort on both sides, but I strongly support their system of applications, vet references, and home visits for any potential adopters. Frenchies are complicated dogs to care for, and if someone isn't willing to go through the process, they are not likely good candidates for Frenchie parents. I found everyone at FBRN to be thoroughly professional, responsive, and kind.
In addition to the initial adoption and support, FBRN provides trememdous, ongoing support through a network of volunteers and others who've adopted dogs through their organization. Anytime I have a question or concern about my dog's health, diet, behavior, etc., there's always plenty of folks with advice and encouragement! Plus, we get to update each other with cute pictures and stories. It's a wonderful community.
FBRN is an amazing organization that helps French bulldogs. The group has the most thoughtful and caring volunteers that go above and beyond to ensure the frenchies are safe, treated, and adopted out to the best homes. I've personally witness the way they saved my foster from euthanasia and brought her back to having a wonderful life - including getting her a custom wheelchair cart!

I have been a volunteer with FBRN for only a short time but I must say I am impressed with the professionalism of this organization. I am currently fostering a special needs french bulldog and our support system is amazing! Every single member of this group plays an integral role in our combined effort to rescue, raise money, rehab and rehome these wonderful dogs. I am honored to be a part of FBRN and welcome any and all interested in volunteering or adoption to check us out!
I've been following this organization for several years and recently became a volunteer. The level of professionalism, organization, and care they provide to the animals far exceeds anything I had expected. The volunteers are knowledgeable, dedicated and (best of all) funny and friendly. Everyone shares their knowledge and experience so the dogs receive the best care possible. It's truly a "team" atmosphere where everyone shares in the joy of seeing a foster find it's perfect forever home!
I adopted a rescue through FBRN in January 2013. They did a thorough job screening me and my husband (including a home visit!) and making sure we understood what adopting a French Bulldog would entail. Our dog's foster mom even met us 2 hours away from her home to save us some time on pickup day so we could get our new little family member home sooner. I would adopt via FBRN again in a heartbeat, they do incredible work!
I have been a volunteer with FBRN for almost two years now. This organization is very well run and I am proud to be associated with it. From the moment I signed up I found opportunities to help with fundraisers, transports, fostering, and booth events. It has been a very rewarding experience.
After I lost my French Bulldog I knew I needed to share the love with another French Bulldog. I adopted a little girl from the OK10. I am forever grateful to have this special girl in my life.
FBRN is dedicated to making sure the right home is found for each dog in their care.

I have been a volunteer w/FBRN since Feb 2013 and have been donating and following them for years. I adopted one of their Frenchies last month and couldn't have been happier w/the process. Even though I am a volunteer I did not feel as though I would definitely get my Frenchie just because I was a volunteer. This organization goes above and beyond to make sure their pups are adopted by the absolute perfect family and situation. I was totally surprised when I got the call that we got her and it really made me feel as though the Foster parent knew exactly what she was looking for when placing her Foster dog. And it was, Absolutely, the perfect fit! We are totally in love w/our Phoebe and I would adopt again and again from FBRN.
My husband and I wanted a French Bulldog for a long time. But adopting a rescue pup was always how we imagined we'd find our pet(s). Fortunately we found FBRN. Through FBRN, we have now adopted three (3) wonderful Frenchie family members. French Bulldogs are not an ordinary breed and take some extra care. In each of our adoption processes, the volunteer staff have taken a lot of time to vet our applications. They will take alot of time to inform you about the dog you have applied for, inform you about the breed in general and discuss with you the necessary care of a French Bulldog and answer any and all questions you have. When you are lucky enough to be chosen as a forever-family to one of their Frenchies, you can be rest assured that your 'grad' has been well cared for, rehabilitated, trained and/or brought back to a healthy, vibrant pup. Beyond the adoption, the foster families, the organization's leadership members and tireless volunteers have been essentially at our beck and call to answer any questions, provide advice and give support. Everyone on their staff is extremely knowledgeable and truly dedicated to their mission. We feel blessed to have discovered this organization. They have given us 3 wonderful family members. And as a Frenchie adopter, they have been a wealth of information and continued support. Their donation/fee for each dog is nominal in comparison to what a breeder will charge you. And in return, you are not only given a vetted, healthy and well-cared for pet companion but an entire network of folks who are ready to offer you their support. I am amazed they are able to keep doing the work they do. They are an amazing non-profit to work with.

I have been a volunteer and donor for this organization for a few years now and have been so impressed with how well run it is. As part of my day job I review hundreds of IRS 990s of non profit organizations and I reviewed FBRN's prior to volunteering or donating. I was so impressed with their use of funds. The low admin and fundriaing expenses leave the majority of the funds donated to go to actually helping the dogs which is not always the case in some organizations. Even in the latest 990 posted on guidestar you can tell that the unpaid board members truly care and spend each penny wisely.
I adopted in March 2013! The experience was amazing. FBRN is a fabulous professional organization with top notch volunteers. Our little man has completed our family and the group is there still to assist with any and all questions! Since adopting I have also volunteered and fostered all of which have been positive fulfilling experiences!

After years of donating money to FBRN, we applied and were accepted to adopt our JoJo. Next week marks the two year anniversary of when we drove to Oklahoma to meet him and his foster mom. Now we can't imagine life without our JoJo! He had a rough start in life and I shudder to think what would have happened to him without FBRN and donors who make their work possible. I know that every penny I donate to this organization goes to help the dogs that are fortunate enough to make their way into FBRN. They truly perform miracles and save lives each and every day. I applied for other dogs before we were accepted to bring JoJo into our family, but it was worth the wait!
I adopted from FBRN in 2012. My experience was top rate. Since I adopted a special needs dog(deaf), it was important to me that the agency be professional and supportive of its adoptive families. I ways have a support system and volunteers who care about my dog and me. Since that time I became a foster family for other deaf dogs. All their interactions have been honest, dog centered and I could not ask for more. They are the creme of the crop when it comes to rescue!
I joined the group this summer. I attended my first FBRN event in September at the Le Taste of France in NYC. I made the last minute decision to attend after emailing with the few members that I had had communicated with. I was hesitant since I'm not a big "joiner" type person.
I could not believe this group. They were so happy to see my and my dog. My dog , by the way is an ENGLISH bulldog. They are so well organized and so true to their mission that I couldn't be prouder to be part of this group. I could go on. The true test of any group is how well the newcomers are welcomed. So glad I clicked on that volunteer button.

Having donated to this rescue network then becoming a volunteer recently, I have to say this organization is very organized and do such a great job on taking care of the dogs as well as making sure that the volunteers they choose pass their high expectations. This is truly a great rescue network!
I have been a volunteer with FBRN for about three years. Heving volunteered for other rescues in the past, I can say with confidence that FBRN is far and away the best organized, most ethical, most democratic dog rescue organization I have encountered. The level of knowlege and professionalism is impressive, the support system within the organization is second-to-none, and above all, potential adopters and surrendering owners can count on the trustworthiness of the organization.
Thanks so much Mosby Foundation. As a parent of two sons with disabilities, I never seem to get ahead of my bills. My rescued Min-Pin, Louie, needed to have his teeth cleaned, and it was always something that was put on hold until I could afford it. This was not fair to Louie, as his teeth were getting bad, so I turned to your foundation. With your help I was able to take care of my dog. His teeth look great, and I am relieved and grateful. Keep up the good work.

I became a volunteer with French Bulldog Rescue Network shortly after adopting my first frenchie from them in 2009. FBRN’s commitment to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing frenchies is married to a commitment to educating and supporting their volunteers, adopters and the public about French Bulldogs which in turn supports the breed. FBRN’s foster process is designed to fully evaluate foster dogs in an in-home environment to ensure that each dog can be properly placed in forever homes that meets their individual needs. FBRN’s commitment does not stop with that placement they continue to support their graduates as they integrate into their new environments and throughout their lives.
I have worked with and adopted from several rescue organizations and FBRN truly sets the bar high; volunteering and adopting from FBRN has been a truly rewarding experience and I highly recommend them.
I have been a volunteer for FBRN since 2009. I have always been impressed with the professionalism of this organization. Their dedication to the welfare of French Bulldogs is unsurpassed. FBRN prides itself on fully disclosing all issues a dog has in the bio and selecting the home that best fits the need of the dog to ensure a successful forever placement.

I have beeen a volunteer since September 2012 and just recently graduated my first foster this week. It was such a rewarding experience to take in a Frenchie in need & help her find her forever home. FBRN is so helpful with any questions I had throughout my foster process. I was able to spend 2 amazing months with her & help her on to her next chapter in life. FBRN has an extensive application process to ensure the homes for these dogs are truly FOREVER. They are a one of a kind Resuce and I cant wait to contine my volunteer & foster help for years to come.

In the two years I've been a volunteer with FBRN, I've served in a number of roles. In recruiting new volunteers and supporters, I'm proud to tell them that for a group that does most of it's work via phone or online, with volunteers spread out in the US and Canada, it's incredibly well organized and efficiently run. There is strong leadership, a clear definition of roles, and support for the volunteers, both new and experienced.
To support the mission of the nonprofit, FBRN foster homes do their best to fairly evaluate a dog to make the adoption last for life. If circumstances change, FBRN will always take one of their dogs back into care, ensuring that the dogs' needs are met, whether medical or behavioral.
This has been an incredibly rewarding volunteer experience for me, and made that much better by my fellow volunteers.
I have been a volunteer with French Bulldog Rescue Network for a little over a year now. I am very impressed with the level of organization, dedication, and love that is shown within this rescue. The volunteers are always ready and able to spring into action at a moments notice to save Frechies in need.
I am so proud of the work that I have done and the relationships that I have made within FBRN. Most importantly, my relationship with my FBRN Grad Betty Boop. She was a mis-understood dog that has brought incredible joy to my life.
I thought I was passionate about French Bulldogs, and then I met the pawesome folks at the French Bulldog Rescue Network! Their passion and love for this breed of dogs is inspiring. Through FBRN I have made some amazing friends and met some amazing dogs. This great group of people is so tremendously knowledgeable about the breed, and so dedicated to the safety and well being of the dogs they work with. I'm very proud to call myself a volunteer!
The French Bulldog Rescue Network has been an amazing organization to volunteer for. I got involved with FBRN after adopting my first French Bulldog from them in 2009.
I've found FBRN to be one of the most well-organized animal rescue groups of it's kind. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the health and special needs of French Bulldogs, and they are always excited and willing to help educate others - both new volunteers and potential adopters. The dedication FBRN's volunteers exhibit is astounding - they live & breath French Bulldogs and are always looking for new ways to be better pet owners, be better rescue advocates, and even better mentors within the dog rescue community.
I have been volunteering for FBRN for three years now and am very proud of the work I've done with them. I've been able to share my professional skills to help raise awareness and money, as well as engage our volunteers and sponsors with exciting fundraisers and events. I've had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing potential adopters who want to adopt a French Bulldog of their very own. I've made new professional friendships by partnering with rescue-loving companies to support our organization. I've thoroughly enjoyed actually rescuing frenchies in need by transporting them to safety or fostering them within my home. And one of the wonderful perks of volunteering for the French Bulldog Rescue Network has been making new friends across the US, Canada, and in my own community - both volunteers and adoptive families.
I highly recommend FBRN as an organization to volunteer with, and also to adopt a French Bulldog from.
