This is a wonderful Program and I absolutely love what ETM-LA does. I had a chance to work with the kids and it was wonderful seeing them enjoy music.Music is really important because it can help a child academically and emotionally. Music is a character builder and ETM-LA is helping this children grow to be wonderful people.Thank you ETM-LA for a being such an amazing program.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... I have been to concerts and worked with the kids in the class room. It was wonderful see them grow as people and as musicians.
Ways to make it better!
- If I had to make changes to this organization, I would… I wouldn't change a thing.
I believe ETM-LA is a wonderful program that is constantly impacting the lives of many students (including my son), teacher and families.
Students are able to discover their gifts and talents in music, which unlocks parts of their brain, helping them to do well in school(academically,socially,emotionally) and makes it easier for teachers to teach.
Families are able to enjoy,celebrate and nurture the talent of the child. This is my personal testimony. Thank You ETM-LA Amazing program!!!

- If I had to make changes to this organization, I would… I would not change a thing.

ETM-LA has positively changed the outlook of my students in a very dynamic fashion and has added tremendous value to the Castelar community. The value that they have added is to create a culture of musical and creative discipline. My students are eager to commit themselves to the practice and the dedication needed to master an instrument.
Considering the fact that students (and adults) express their academic, inter-personal, and intra-personal attributes in various ways. ETM-LA has channeled many of my students to show evidence of learning through the arts. I am grateful for their solid and consistent support.

- I've seen the results of this organization in... watching and participating in their musical services.
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... the professionalism and patience to see my students through the tougher musical pieces.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... professional and kind.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... service the entire North American continent; service developing countries, such as Nicaragua, Vietnam, and Africa.
Ways to make it better!
- My experience would have been better if... my students and I would have a DVD of the musical piece so we can continue learning at home
- If I had to make changes to this organization, I would… augment some technological advances in the composing of music, so the students can begin composing off of the software that already exist; in order to perform their own music
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... the awareness that it exist and the caliber of service that it provides in comparison to other organizations.
- One thing I'd also say is that... technology can reach and educate other folks if used well
I was a Client Served & I'm a 4th grade teacher who's learning how to play violin with my 4th grade students.

My 4th graders enjoy going to their weekly cello and violin lessons. The music instructors are wonderful. They've learned numerous skills from the music teachers.

- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... that students and teachers are learning, not only music but other subjects as well.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... excellent. They have a great deal of experience teaching music to children.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... start a wonderful afterschool program for students who are interested or talented in music.

- My experience would have been better if... more inservice for classroom teachers
- If I had to make changes to this organization, I would… extend the program to afterschool for students who are interested/talented in music.
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... have enough fund.
- One thing I'd also say is that... the program is great !!

Music education improves the way the human brain processes spoken language. Castelar students are privilidged to have ETM here. Each year, my students are motivated to learn and play their instruments (both the cello and the violin). My third grade students look forward to their lessons each week. ETM has helped my students develop discipline and self confidence.

Ways to make it better!
- One thing I'd also say is that... It would be great to have take-home instruments to practice what is learned in the classroom at the students home.
