Mission: EJUSA cuts through the polarization to build a criminal justice system that works for everyone. We envision a criminal justice system that is fair, effective, and responsive to everyone impacted by crime. A criminal justice system that is part of the solution instead of the problem – one that prevents violence before it occurs, helps crime victims rebuild their lives, and creates opportunities for former offenders so they won’t repeat the harm. A successful criminal justice system will mean fewer victims, fewer defendants, and more safety for all of us.
Results: Our worked has helped end the death penalty in seven states in the last several years. We have built game-changing coalitions of law enforcement, crime survivors, falsely convicted exonerees, liberals and conservatives, civil rights groups, religious groups, and others to come together and find common ground to repeal the death penalty.
Geographic areas served: National

I am very interested in all groups such as EJUSA, The Innocence Project, Amnesty International, others which work to help our society to treat its lowest status citizen with some humanity, with some human decency, or at least to not kill them. I believe Equal Justice USA fights continuously to end the Death Penalty in all 50 of the United States. I know they have made progress with several states ending their participation in the Death Penalty in the past two or three years that I have been aware of the work of EJUSA.

Great work! Please continue to help us treat our fellow human beings with humanity and compassion. Thank you!
