Monica Caison and all at CUE are not just a missing persons non-profit, they are our family. CUE has been and continues to be right by our side since the disappearance of my sister in law, Noemi González in 2014. They organized search and rescue teams to search for Noemi, included her in their Road to Remember Tour by stopping by her neighborhood and helping local police distribute information on Noemi’s disappearance, spotlighted Noemi’s disappearance and life in their annual conference, shared our pain and provided comfort during prayer vigils, etc. and have been there for our family with unconditional love and support. When a loved one goes missing, your life is turned upside down and, thankfully, most people do not understand the heartache. CUE gets it. When you speak to CUE and other families that are going through the same heartache, there is an instant bond and comfort in knowing that they truly understands your pain and are just as committed as you are to find your loved one. Monica and CUE are not just another non-profit, they are our family and we are blessed to have their support. God bless them all and their dedication to helping find the missing and support the families.

I have been honored to serve as a volunteer for CUE since 2008 and have seen so much impact made for the families of the missing.

CUE is an all volunteer organization who relies on private donations to be prepared to serve the missing persons community in any capacity. No one is paid to do the work we do, it is all time and talent given from the heart. Not only does CUE impact the families, but also each and every one of us who have been a part of the organization.

As a volunteer since 2008 I've seen first-hand the impact this organization has made for missing persons and their families. Through the network of volunteers, each case is worked professionally, the missing and their families are advocated, and searches are performed by teams with the best resources.

Each year, except during the pandemic, CUE Center hosts a National Missing Persons conference where everyone gathers for presentations, classes, and socialization. It's a safe haven for families to be with each other and know they are not on this journey alone.

The organization offers back to the community through internships, mentorships, training seminars and community service opportunities. Under the leadership of Monica Caison, CUE Center has evolved into the premier organization that serves the missing and their loved ones.

Anyone searching for a place to volunteer your time and talent can be assured there is a place for you here!

Being a part of CUE has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. CUE goes above and beyond in bringing awareness to missing persons’ cases across the country. CUE’s volunteers are some of the most passionate and dedicated individuals that I have ever met, providing their time and services at any given moment. Monica Caison has touched many lives and continues to dedicate her life to those that are missing.

I am a current board member for CUE! I joined in 2021 after years of following Monica and Cue on social media! In my opinion, this is simply the most passionate non profit organization for Missing Persons and their families! Monica’s passion for the missing is contagious and we strive to fundraise all year long and all the time so that we are able to provide that compassion for the missing person cases and their families!

I am so honored and proud to be a part of this organization! The families we serve and their loved ones deserve to have a team behind them fighting for their loved ones missing as well as for them in a time when it is needed the most!

Working for and with our families provides that fighting team when it is needed the most! I have worked with many, many non profits in my lifetime and this organization and leadership and compassion from Monica is by far one of the most hard working I have ever been involved with in all the many I have volunteered for and the work is much needed.

Community United Effort-CUE is the best missing person organization, hands down. I joined the CUE family 10 years ago and think they do an amazing job for the missing and their families. We have many resources for the missing and families at no cost at all. Along with searching, we advocate, educate and become a liaison between the families and law enforcement. We are entirely funded through donations, grants and fundraising.

The CUE leadership, headed by founder Monica Caison, is a group of volunteers who truly care about the task that they undertake on a daily basis. From communicating with each other to supporting and assisting family members, who are still feeling the effects of the loss of their loved one, is a priority for each volunteer. Searches are coordinated and performed with great detail, keeping in mind the dangers involved in working in excessive heat and cold, while still safely pushing forward in an effort to accomplish the goal at hand. I would strongly encourage anyone wishing to donate their time to consider CUE. Providing resolution for family members is our goal and at any time we could find ourselves in the very shoes of those we serve.

I discovered CUE while working for DHS, many Sheriff Deputies knew of CUE's commitment to performing searches for missing persons and as I was retiring from the federal government, I applied to join CUE so that I could be of assistance to the organization. It is very rewarding working with committed professionals and would encourage anyone to apply to this organization in order to assist families and their community in resolving cases involving missing persons.

This organization is amazing beyond any words. I had a cousin that was a minor and went missing and immediately they stepped right in to help. Monica spent countless hours talking with me on the phone day or night to try to find him. All of the CUE workers were so helpful. We done an online vigil and everything. Eventually the CUE center offered a 5,000 reward for my cousins safe return. This reward is what ended up leading him back and safe. He was one of the lucky ones who was found and we never gave up hope. Thank you beyond all words for this organization and all they do. They have helped others that I know as well to find loved ones and I highly recommend contacting them if you need help with a missing person. They will go beyond and above to help and will not give up .

1984 my entire existence shattered. My mom was JUST GONE !
CT state police NEVER WANTED TO WORK THIS CASE - these 39years are riddled with leads unfollowed. I met Monica about 20 years ago at a rally for another missing person in CT .

Since that day, CUE aka Monica has assisted in searches for evidence/mom , some were shut down with questionable reasons by my state , like the search based on a suspects interview where he told csp he had buried 4 cars, only 3 were found.
The 4th car would have been my mom's car that also vanished shortly after csp 's initial interview with prime suspect, her abusive husband.
For the record I do believe moms car is still on that property in Farrell road Newtown CT

And on Friday night remains were found in Newtown, Connecticut. I reached out to the many branches of CSP up to csao - still no reply from any of my calls/ messages
I would be subexisting in total darkness if not for CUE CENTER.

Monica ALWAYS gives the best expert advise on next steps and she ALWAYS responds.

I did reach out to Monicaas well & she immediately gets back to you. Whether it's for next steps or just to calm you down, Monica is always there for me

My first introduction to CUE , As a law enforcement officer, I had been involved on a murder case of an elderly gentleman. Defendant " BULL" had murdered victim Mr. James over a card game. Defendant attempted to destroy all the evidence along with the victim body by fire. After discovering the body wouldn't burn, defendant buried victim's body in a shallow grave approximately 150 yards from the crime scene.
I was assigned the task of keeping notes on the actions and times. Monica, along with a team of volunteers arrived on the scene. After a brief conversation about the case, Monica deployed K-9 HEIDI. In less than 1 minute HEIDI alerted as to the presence of decomp order in an area . Upon further investigation, Mr. James's remains were unearthed.
Being raised in the country and being involved with dogs and various other missing persons cases, this organization made an everlasting impression on me. Not only the actions of Monica and HEIDI, but all the other CUE members implanted the desire to become involved with this fine and very professional organization. This was in approximately 2006 and to this day the determination is just as strong as the first time.

I wanted to be a part of CUE to help bring closure to families, and to continue to raise awareness for those that are still missing. I have been impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of this team. In all the cases in which I or my organization have been involved in, the searches have been handled with a strong commitment to ethical standards and sensitivity to the privacy of the requesting agencies and the victim's families. All these searchers often leave their families and jobs to donate their time to search for the missing. This amazing organization that operates strictly off donations.

I volunteered for C.U.E. For the Missing in 2021. I had spent years following Monica’s work for the families of missing people! The first case that caught my attention was a young woman that I had met and been out with thru mutual friends, Allison Foy! There is no other organization that I have ever been a part of that works harder for the families of missing loved ones! After being vetted after my application I was honored to be asked to join the board! I interviewed with the board members and Monica and afterwards received a call from Kathy Keller our President and asked to officially join the board! I was so excited and honored!

This year has been my first full year and while it took me a while to get in the groove with the team and leavened how everything operates! Still learning and want to learn as much as I can! I like to understand how all the steps work in the process! Even with the learning process and personalities & learning my own way to be in Wilmington as much as possible while I am still living a 100 miles away! I am figuring it out and I pray and hope that Monica and our board believes i have added value to the team! I have so many fundraising ideas & marketing ideas from my background in media sales with the majority of my 20 years spent as a general sales manager! C.U.E. Cases are all over the United States and there is many facets to the organization from board members, K9 teams and State coordinators! I have applied to be considered for a state coordinator and hope that will happen when Monica and her team that selects candidates think I am ready! Our board is a working board which I love! ! If you can help to fill a need for our conference or one of our fundraisers then step up and out to make the calls! I know from my experience how wonderful it feels to know that a phone call or visit to a contact can help us have the funds to do searches that are key to the organization! I am honored to be a board member for Monica and C.U.E. & hope to continue to grow my relationship with the board, others that are a part of C.U.E. and, of course being a support person to our team for the families we serve! If you are looking for a place to volunteer or donate to please look no further than C.U.E. I can assure you that your time or your money is being spent to help bring home the missing!

There is no organization more passionate about the missing than CUE. The found, Monica Caison, took me under her wing as a college intern and has continued to shape my life to this day. I have grown into a board member, served as President of the organization, become a searcher and eventually worked my way up to being a k9 handler. I have had multiple recoveries of missing persons with Monica and have seen first hand how she has changed the lives of so many in such an impactful way.

CUE is by far the best missing persons organization out there. Monica Caison's dedication to the missing and her community goes unmatched. I became apart of CUE through their college internship program. I completed 150 hours and decided I forever wanted to help CUE fulfill its mission. I became a board member and searcher. I have been apart of 3 recoveries and there is no experience like helping someone bring their child home. The lessons learned through CUE are invaluable. I cannot think of a better way to give back. Thank goodness for CUE, I cannot imagine all of the families that would have been left behind stuck in their grief.

CUE Center from Missing Persons is a five star organization. I was a State Outreach Coordinator for several years and can tell you that this organization is 100% volunteer and donation driven. Families are NEVER charged for services. A conference is held once a year on Wilmington, NC. The conference is a fantastic opportunity to connect with CUE members, law enforcement, educators and other families. I cannot say enough good things. How do you convey the true meaning and the stellar work of a volunteer organization accomplishing so much good for so many, spanning 28 years?
Having been associated with the CUE Center for Missing Persons -
Community United Effort as a Coordinator for several years I think of the heart touching moments, the dedication, the commitment to the mission, the family support, the ‘going the extra mile’ that you may not receive elsewhere.

Having support and expertise for the long haul” (sometimes years of waiting) is so important that CUE becomes a surrogate family to those in need… Who then in turn may heed the call to help others as a way to further their own healing. In this
Way , the CUE family grows and ‘comes full circle

The Annual Conference is a blend of some of the best elements CUE offers regarding educational seminars by Founder, Monica Caison and experts in their respective fields, creating a sense of reunion for returning members, and welcoming new members, the opportunity for volunteerism at all age levels, support, advocacy, entertainment, hope, companionship, inspirational family stories, food, a special candlelight vigil by the river an awards ceremony and more.
Refer to this, one of my favorite former blogs I authored from a 2017 Conference that captures the essence of it all.
https://donnagore.com/2017/04/03/looking-past-the-word-missing-2017-national-missing-persons-conference/

The road for a missing person and/or homicide family is filled with challenges and obstacles. However, with the CUE Center by your side, it is a path of acceptance, caring, support and love from others who have lived the journey.

As a long time State Outreach Coordinator for the CUE Center for Missing Persons, I have seen this organization evolve into a very impriesive non-profit.. Their individual and team skills and unique focus/specialization in fulfilling an urgent need for missing persons, (primarily adults and unsolved homicides) is unmatched when compared to other non-profits. They are small enough to continue to serve individual families- customized to their needs and also impart knowledge and insight that only comes with years of experience! Much credit should be given to Founder Monica Caison , in that she has continued to find ways to serve missing persons families during this unrelenting pandemic. Although there are many challenges and responsibilities, Monica and her staff are not deterred and are performing their vital roles as best they can.

CUE helps find missing people. They have many people & dogs and they search areas where people have gone missing. They devote countless hours of their time in all kinds of scenarios and weather to try to bring hope to the families of the missing throughout the U.S. Sometimes they are the only hope a family has. One of them helped me search for my missing child years ago (my child was eventually found alive) but her child has never been found. Her name is Christy Davis & her son Austin has been missing 15 years, but through her pain, she devotes her life to helping others. They really are the only group I know of who works hand in hand with law enforcement and offers large area searches that sometimes law enforcement can't cover. I have seen them out doing searches in the heat & through rough terrain and inclement weather to bring a person home. I've seen them stand vigil when human remains are found as they await identification. They are truly angels among us.

My experience with CUE has been nothing short of amazing. Since first volunteering to help CUE in whatever way I could, I have seen first hand the passion and commitment they have in helping the communities and the families who have been through the severe pain of losing a loved one. Their tireless effort to find missing loved ones of all ages, shows the world that there is someone out there who does care about them regardless of race, income or status. That's a rare thing in today's world but CUE brings hope that we can still have faith in everyday people to go to great lengths and sacrifice much to help family and strangers alike because we are all God's children and all deserve the respect to not be forgotten.

April 22, 1998, my daughter went missing in Wilmington, NC
When I arrived from Ohio on the 23rd of April, Monica met me and already had posters made up and her story out there. Thru the 7 months it took us to find her, Monica was at my side, directing all the things families, with Missing Persons know nothing about. We knew by June what had happened. Peggy Carr had been car- jacked, at 3:00 in the afternoon and made to drive 42 miles out of Wilmington and murdered and left. They needed her car for a robbery, that never happened, nor did they use her car. She was part of a crime spree of 3 woman, Peggy included. The story made such news, Peggy became CUE’s landmark case. Monica is unfounded and continues her undaunted journeys to help all families.

My dear friend, Leah Roberts, has been missing 21 years, 6 months, and 22 days. When she disappeared that March, we had no idea what to do. We were in North Carolina and felt like we were a world away from Washington State. It was fate that connected all of us who love Leah to Monica Caison, but she has been with us every step of the way since we met.

Leah disappeared while "on the road" to Bellingham. One of the beautiful ways that CUE has raised awareness about her case has been with the annual "On the Road to Remember Tour." Initially, the tour followed her path from Durham to Bellingham, stopping at places she visited and creating visibility for her case nationwide. Today, the tour highlights missing persons all over the country.

You have to understand that the volunteers at the CUE Center know that every missing person is somebody's child. The volunteers are diligent and faithful. They never give up - Leah has been missing nearly half of my life now, and the CUE Center still walks with me. And when the press stops or refuses to draw attention to a missing person's story - the CUE Center is there. CUE Center is there when law enforcement needs support or when searches need to happen with boots on the ground. And when the grief is too overwhelming, they will weep with you and hold you. The CUE Center never forgets.

If you want to support an OUTSTANDING nonprofit - choose this one.

I have been a volunteer searcher with the CUE Center for Missing Persons since 2009 and have been a Board Member/Officer since 2010. No other organization that I would consider volunteering my time and resources for! Have been blessed by this decision since day one and truly believe in the cause.

I have been involved with The Community United Effort (CUE) for Missing Persons since May 2009 when I was a member of a Mounted SAR unit in my area. I made the decision to volunteer strictly for CUE in November of that same year. Monica Caison took the time to take me under her wing immediately and from there her passion was infectious. My husband and I became Board Members in 2010 and have not looked back. CUE holds its National Missing Persons Conference in March of every year and having just come away from this 4 day event, you are always changed for the better. Monica puts together a fantastic program that some how makes you more motivated than you were the year past.

The CUE Center for Missing Persons is the best organization from our Mission Statement to all of the individuals that make it a life experience for so many. Thank you Monica and CUE for showing me that putting others before ourselves is the best reward we can be given.

There is no damage so severe to a family that compares to losing a loved one mysteriously, faced with never knowing their final outcome. This injury lasts a lifetime. We volunteer members of CUE feel this pain and come with purpose. We put our boots on the ground, our ATVs, and horses and dogs in the fields and woods and rivers with energy and hope. We are a grand group that I am fortunate to be part of.

In CUE I find a group of people who want to bring closure to families who have no where else to turn. This is really about them. We come from many active walks of life. Good, unselfish people. We could be victims or desperate families one day. We try to do the right thing and we are happy to do it. We make our contributions happily and we appreciate the support for the cause. Thank you.

This non profit organization is one of the best known to those who have a Missing person in there family. I myself have a daughter Elsha Marie Rivera who has been missing since 2004 from Fort Worth Texas.
What seems like a lifetime ago for many is part of my daily life for ever until she is found, as the years go by and her case ages I also age and my life doesn't become any easy. The biggest nightmare of any parent who has a loved one Missing is knowing the years are going by and that one day you may pass away without finding that loved one..at age 61... I know find myself in that category as many others like me...this organization has given many hope and has made tremendous sacrifices in the search of those Missing. Without them many families wouldn't know where to turn. I wish there were more organizations like this one in other areas and that they had the funds to go from State to State with many of there searches. ..we just don't have enough of what is needed out there and it's sad because so many people go Missing in America never to be heard or seen from again...and the majority of them never get media or are ever searched for.

The Cue Center for the Missing is an outstanding awesome organization that is run totally by Volunteers. There are hundreds of people through out the United States that offer their expertise, their years of training to help Cue find Missing people. Volunteers in this field of work spend thousands of dollars over the years to do this kind of Volunteering. To have an organization so organized, focused & driven with passion makes all of us want to help even more. Monica is very passionate about her work and helping those family members that have no direction until they meet her. Nobody receives a pay check while working searches everything from bringing in help from others states to serving lunch is donated.

I have worked with this organization since approximately 2008. The founder, Monica is an unbelievable woman. She is relentless in her quest to help the families of the victims by searching to try and locate the victim or evidence. The equipment that they bring, horses, 4x4’s, drones, boats, ground searchers and beyond is amazing. As a member of Law Enforcement, the organization was one of my finest tools. On several occasions we located remains and we’re able to bring them home to the families. Other times we have located helpful evidence, sometimes they search for days on end with no results. All in all these searchers often leave their full time jobs to donate their time to search. This is am amazing organization that operates strictly off donations. As a Police Officer, I thank God everyday for them coming to help me.

I entered CUE as a police officer. I often joke that I didn't find CUE but CUE found me. During my first search I was standing on the line in the woods of SC and I looked to my left and saw a strong leader in the search field. I asked him what brought him to CUE. He said his son had went missing and CUE was the only thing that kept him together and helped him find his son. He said his son was found victim of a homicide and without CUE he would have never survived the aftermath. He said he had been volunteering for CUE ever since. He said now he dedicates his whole life to helping others find their loved ones. That day I was sold. CUE taught me more than I ever thought it would. I began going on searches and eventually became a state coordinator. Monica Caison is one of the finest leaders I've ever known. Monica Caison leads with passion and a relentlessness spirit. She will be with families from the start to the finish. If there's a way Monica Caison will find it. She has always said if you find a road block go around it.. CUE is not just an organization CUE is a way of life. When you enter CUE you become family. CUE doesn't get paid for anything that they do yet you will receive 100 percent tireless efforts from people who won't quit because they merely love people and want to make a difference in the world of missing persons. CUE answers the call anytime day or night for those that have found themselves in crisis and in the darkest of places to be a ray of light to those that are in need. CUE is hope to those that feel hopeless in their situation having suffered walking through the nightmare of a missing love one. CUE was a game changer for me not only did it teach me all the things I needed to know within my career but it changed me internally for life. I will always be CUE it's in me once you become a part of CUE it will never leave you. Community Unified Effort is made up of the finest people I've ever known. If you are looking for an organization to be a part of look no further CUE is more than just an organization CUE is a game changer.
CUE works closely with Law Enforcement all over the United States and when Law Enforcement see CUE work they quickly gain the respect of Law Enforcement. CUE is professional tactful well planned out and organized. When CUE shows up on the scene everyone knows this organization means business the volunteers take it seriously and no person leaves till the job is done.

As a first-time victim of homicide, I was unaware of the mental, emotional and physical toll that this life shattering event would take on me. I was unaware of the stages of true grief, and the different ways it would manifest. Guilt, depression, anxiety, fear, panic attacks were some of my many aftereffects. I’ve accepted that the pain never truly dissipates, but becomes a void in your heart that you can learn to live with. I am greatly appreciative of organizations like this who provides practical assistance to family of victims. I’ve also found comfort in knowing that evil and suffering will not exist forever because God promises to end it, although He is not the cause of our suffering.

Psalms 37
10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;
You will look at where they were,
And they will not be there.+
11 But the meek will possess the earth,+
And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

My favorite website for understanding this hope and receiving comfort is JW.org.

May your heart be comforted and peace be found.

I have been with CUE for almost a year now. CUE is the type of organization that brings together volunteers who are dedicated to the mission of helping families locate their missing loved ones. It is mission driven and the volunteers are the best, working together as one big family to locate missing persons. From my very first search I have been impressed with the the way everyone goes above and beyond to assist these families through the toughest times in their lives. CUE really believes everyone is someone’s child. I am proud to serve as a NC state coordinator and searcher for CUE and look forward to many years working with them to accomplish their mission.

As a volunteer State Outreach Coordinator for the CUE Center for Missing Persons for many years, I am continually impressed with Founder, Monica Caison’s ability to maintain, sustain and never lose sight of the path to thriving once again, in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic!

It takes incredible skill to switch gears, re-prioritize resources, time and effort in order to provide needed services which embody the mission and goals of this organization.
Assisting families of the missing and unsolved homicides is always the number one priority. A 26 year track record with many important, professional services continuing to be offered free of charge is unmatched in the arena of missing persons.

It truly takes a “nationwide village” of dedicated staff to persevere, motivate and foster change in any year. However, this is especially vital in 2020, as families need a lifeline more than ever before!
The beauty of this organization to me, is that specific circumstances around a person going missing is never judged. Help is offered to all who meet the basic criteria. Every missing person is equal.

The “startling but true” data of over 600,000 missing persons annually, speaks to this silent epidemic to which we persistently try to give a much needed voice.

Monica Caison and her dedicated volunteers across the nation are truly inspiring and are very deserving of the honor of the Great Non-Profit for 2020.

The Cue Center for Missing Persons is an amazing non-profit whose lifeblood begins with volunteerism and dedication to the cause in a number of ways. Many of the families associated with a missing persons case and/or unsolved homicide frequently find their sense of purpose and equilibrium with this family oriented group. Personally, I found a surrogate home and means of caring, expression and manner of assisting others that fits with my personality and talents when biological family members often do not, or cannot take an interest in such endeavors.

Since 1994, Monica Caison has sacrificed much with her tireless dedication, to provide resources, reassurance, comfort, a sense of hope, and when possible, resolution or recovery from their painful ordeal. Her passion has fueled the fire to serve thousands of victims both in the U.S .and in foreign counties The Cue Center for Missing Persons has the distinction and credibility of longevity, skilled experience and an impressive track record, without compromising standards and protocols when searching for missing loved ones. As a homicide survivor and State Coordinator It is an honor to serve them in my home state of Connecticut and beyond.

There are not enough words to shower CUE with the accolades they deserve, but I will share that in a families darkest hour they are the light that brings a modicum of hope to an unthinkable/unbearable situation. Nothing can prepare you for the nightmare of a missing loved one and my family knows this first hand. When we were doubled over in pain, in shock from disbelief, gutted from fear and tending to hearts that were shattered, the only thing that brought us sense of direction was the services of CUE. We are forever grateful for their services and 18 years into my brother's disappearance they are still by our side. We reached out to the cue team in hope of them helping find him. But they did so much more than that they went above and beyond. In 2017, there was a body recovery maybe 1/2 a mile from where he went missing. When I retired, I began volunteering with CUE. I am so honored to be a part of such a worthwhile, motivated, caring organization.

I would describe CUE as a “fine oiled machine” because of their efficiency, procedures and protocol. However, CUE is not a machine at all. It is a group of passionate volunteers who truly care about missing people and their loved ones.
I am so impressed and inspired by the number of volunteers who volunteer their time, skills and resources to search for people they have never met. Volunteers travel hundreds of miles, pulling ATV’s, transporting service dogs, horses and boats to search in areas where others will not go.
CUE volunteers are good people, with a common goal, finding the missing, advocating for their causes, and supporting their families. CUE volunteers are compassionate, forward thinking people, who respect every missing person and their family and desperately want to bring them home. CUE volunteers are there to support and comfort families during there difficult times, not only during a search.
Monica Caison is the founder of CUE. She is an active participant in everything CUE does. She doesn’t sit behind the desk and provide assignments, rather, she, too is boots on the ground...searching for every missing person just like that person were her relative. She has set a positive, caring tone for the organization itself. as well as the volunteers.
Every missing person is somebody’s child.

My sister Pauline Del Mundo has been missing since September 15, 2019. She was last seen at the intersection of 20th Ave. South and Airfield South of DFW Airport in Dallas, Tx. Since no one in the family lives in Texas, we asked CUE to help us find her. CUE volunteers heard our cry, listened to our stories, and gave us hope. Truly compassionate, generous, and amazing, they empowered us when we have nobody to turn to. Last July 25 & 26, 2020, Crystal and her team endured the hardship, searched our sister Paula under the scorching heat of the sun in Texas in their desire to find her. Inspired by their selfless dedication, some drove as far as Tennessee, Georgia, etc., how could we not be touched?
It has been more than 300 days of uncertainty, our tragic plight to find her is still a mystery, and will still be actively acted upon by CUE.
The Community United Effort ( CUE) is not just another nonprofit organization. Monica Caison, it’s founder , Crystal and the rest of the volunteers are truly remarkable people who filled our hearts with love and hope.

She had a tuff road to convince the different departments that she wasn't trying to take over ,but to bring here expertise and teams to assist in locating my daughter . She succeeded in her goal . Before I knew what was happing she had a group of search teams working with the different departments trying to find my little girl. She and crew never give up, here teams consist of a lot of professional law personal who give there time and talent freely to the cause of searching & finding missing people . Six years later Monica & her staff of volunteers has not given up and recently did another search with the police department , unfortunately with no results . When my nephew went missing we had no idea where to turn. We felt like no one he was gone. The detective wasn't getting anywhere with the last people he was seen with. That's when someone referred us to CUE. Monica immediately came up and talked to our family and before we knew it we had 100's of volunteers from all over the US helping look for him. They had K9, horse teams, ground teams, and ATV teams. Not to mention the boats and other equipment. They never gave up until they brought him home. Even after his remains was found it didn't end there. Monica and several others went to court with us and got us in touch with victims advocates. That's been 12 years ago and to this day my family volunteers as well. We want to help families like ours that don't know where to turn. Monica and her team never ever give up. We are all strictly volunteer so any donations help with our travel all over the US. It provides lodging and food for all the volunteers. As well as doing road tours to get all the missing names and faces and their stories out there to the public and media. I could talk all day about this organization.

“I offer myself to those who have nowhere else to turn. These desperate people who ask for my help have unique situations. Yet, however unique they are bound together by the commonality of being the loved one of a missing person”. Monica Caison and her volunteers do this on a daily basis, any hour of the day or night. I started volunteering over 5 years ago and see first hand Monica’s dedication on a daily basis. CUE plays so many roles once a family calls and asks for our help...advocate, liaison between the families and law enforcement, searcher, and providing comfort to a family member that has no where else to turn.

Although they were unable to help me directly, they have offered their unending support and vast knowkedge. We found my son, not alive as we had prayed, but we were able to bring him home.

My experience with Community United Effort-CUE Center for Missing Persons, began over 12 years ago when my sister Allison Jackson Foy went missing from Wilmington NC.

As a family from out of state, traveling to an unknown city to find our missing loved one,we had no idea what to expect, what to do or who to turn to for help. We met with law enforcement and then were pretty much on our own, making flyers searching in the worst parts of town and trying to just wrap our heads around the fact that my sister Allison was missing and what that really meant.

As a family in this situation, you feel as if no one is listening to you(at that time especially law enforcement) and in our case that nobody truly cared. Over and over again we heard "she'll turn up", "She's an adult, she has a right to walk away", and the list goes on. Whenever we tried to explain that Allison would not just pick up and leave without her two children we heard those exact same lines. There was no search, there was no investigation, there was just us!

Until we were given CUE center's information and we made a call. Monica Caison and this organization did for our family and our missing loved one what nobody else did. Searching the city of Wilmington, being our advocate and teaching me to be my sisters advocate, working with law enforcement, getting Allison's story in the media and so much more. Even after we left Wilmington, CUE continued to work to find my sister, never giving up hope and teaching my family and I the same. Late night phone calls, meetings with law enforcement, active searches for Allison and all at no cost ever to myself or anyone in our family .

Two and a half years later Allison was recovered, although it was months before she was identified through DNA. (we knew it was her) Without this incredible organization and the tenacity of Monica Caison and her volunteers we would have never found Allison and would have never been able to bring her home. We would have never had answers for her children, my brother and sister or my father. The hardest part truly is the not knowing.

12 years later as we seek justice final resolution and an arrest in Allison's case, CUE Center still stands and fights with us. Why? Because this organization cares, they are in it for the long haul, fighting for the missing and their families on a daily basis. They understand the epidemic that is the missing in our world and take action on a daily basis.

Over the years I have become more than just a "client served". I believe in this organization so much that I have become a volunteer and serve as the NJ State Outreach Coordinator. In those roles I have once again experienced CUE at work, but this time with numerous other families who have walked this path.

This organization is second to none in the field of missing persons. Highly skilled volunteers from all over the country certified and trained, tops in their field. They do so much more than flyers, they are a "boots on the ground organization", National Conferences held yearly for training, the National Road Tour, internships, mentoring, and even a program for young people: "Safe and Found".

In closing, I cannot be more thankful or grateful for CUE, all the volunteers and of course the founder Monica Caison. I am honored to serve this organization alongside some incredible volunteers nationwide. And if you are looking for a charity to donate to, this is the one. All monies go directly to the search effort and no one including the founder ever havereceived a salary.

To date, CUE has help over 12,000 families like mine, because; "Every missing person is somebody's child"!

I have been in Law Enforcement for 37 years working primarily in investigations. I am retired from the New York City Police Department and have been working for the past 16 years in Horry County Police Department in SC where I am in command of the Crime Scene Investigations Unit, Property & Evidence and the Drug Testing Lab. Over the past 8 or more years I have come to know CUE and it's founder Monica Caison. Being in Law enforcement you encounter all types of people. Missing persons cases are always difficult, it is not a crime to go missing, but when those circumstances leave questionable doubt concerning how that person went missing or an immediate need for a lost person, whether they be child, elderly, handicapped, abducted, etc, it is difficult in todays society to rally up dozens of police officers to form a search. Scheduling and restrictions in personnel make it so difficult to get people to conduct a competent search for the victim or evidence. CUE has been able to come in a augment Police Officers by providing competent qualified personnel to search. CUE comes prepared to handle most situations using search teams on foot, 4x4, horseback, boats, drones and so much more. They come prepared to stay with a mobile command post to schedule searchers and to document the areas searched and the findings. The personnel that make up their board of directors are some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever encountered. I have had the privilege to attend their annual conference and training in Wilmington NC and have spent hours with the families of victims and listened to their heart wrenching stories. In all that time I have come to find one common denominator, the CUE family and Monica Caison genuinely care and make a difference in peoples lives. To these families, CUE means everything, many of the searchers have volunteered their time because they have suffered a loss or tragedy in their past and they are compassionate about helping others. CUE trains all their searchers in evidence collection and preservation, in searching not only the area of interest, but the social media sites and any place where information and or clues can be found. When they say "Every Missing Person is Somebody's Child" they truly stand behind their words and are prepared at a moments notice to respond with professional searches ready to assist Law Enforcement,, a family or whomever needs them. These folks have helped me solve several high profile cases through there search efforts and brought answers to families that may not have otherwise received them. To Monica and CUE, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

I have been a volunteer with CUE since 2011. This is a hard working and dedicated group of volunteers who give their time, sweat and tears to help families and agencies try and resolve a missing persons case. The work is hard and requires you to know your skills and limitations. Sometimes we get volunteers who sign up to help, but have their own agenda....these people don't stay with CUE long because we don't allow individual agendas. We are all working toward the same goal...which is to help bring resolve to a case. We don't work for notoriety, money, fame or personal agendas. CUE takes a stand to always be an advocate for families and missing persons. However, putting other volunteers at risk is not something we allow. A K9 handler, Briar M posted comments on 8/22/2017 stating negative comments about CUE because she was asked to leave a search. This handler was asked to leave the search because she was putting herself and others in danger, and left the search without notifying the proper individuals. This was not the first time she had been spoken to about her actions during a search. Sadly, she has made comments on here that do not reflect the true story of her being asked to leave. She neglects to mention that lodging, meals and fuel reimbursement is provided by CUE to all volunteers. She also fails to mention that she, not CUE, is the one who chose to obtain and train a K9. CUE appreciates, and holds volunteers at an utmost level of respect, however, will not allow reckless behavior to interfere with a missing persons case.

CUE/Monica Caison was working on my sister's case long before I was even aware of it. Concerned citizens who lived in my sister's area were already consulting with them before we even knew they existed...despite the fact that the man who murdered my sister (her husband) was making life miserable for them, even making threats, they were undeterred, and supported my family throughout. They were thoroughly caring and professional, unlike the organization that the murderer contracted with to throw the police off, even accused my sister (the victim) of drug abuse, dragging her name erroneously through the mud. The people at CUE are trained and experienced...the organization that worked w/ my "brother in law" was not, and made a hellish experience even worse. People may be well meaning, but that doesn't mean they are effective. CUE knows who the authentically trained professionals are in your area, please save yourself a lot of trouble, and use them.

I have been a part of this organization since 2009. Since my experience involves many many searches for the missing that this organization handles every year I am honored to be a part of the search for missing persons. This organization has assisted many many families to gain resolution with their missing loved ones. The support this organization gives to the families of the missing is unmatched. With the help of donations the searches will continue. The quest for the missing never ends.
I came across a post that I was taken a-back by. It was posted by a Briar M. on 8/22/17. As a CUE volunteer for the past 8 years, I have worked closely with the founder and learned so much such as planning the search, looking for search areas with high probability of locating the missing, missing person behaviors. I find it odd that someone feels that the past three years of searching for missing persons was a “waste”. How misguided! I have never seen any volunteers treated badly. I am not sure what she means about the politics involved. This organization searches for the missing, bringing awareness to the cause and devoted support to the families of the missing. This organization has performed more searches that one could ever count. Aiding over 11,000 families for the past 20 years is quite a feat. I am sorry that her issues bled onto this organization and she felt that cutting off fundraising is the answer. I hope that she find her way to something that she can really do. I myself have traveled thousands of miles searching for the missing. The commitment of this organization is unmatched. I am proud to serve the families of the missing in search of their loved one in the name of Community United Effort, In support of missing persons.

You had a habit of not completing assignments, taking off without notification and not telling the truth concerning areas that were to be searched by you. You were asked to leave with no return after several opportunities to complete task. All searchers are reimbursed for fuel and meals and lodging are always in place upon arrival for each search. Many complaints of your attitude were noted for a long period of time, however you did not like to talk about it and made no effort to correct it.Thank you

Unaffiliated, I attended the 2017 conference because I wanted to know what kind of people use their dogs, their gear, their time to search for a stranger's loved one. What group has the trust and confidence of Law Enforcement, while extending compassion and comfort to grieving families? I volunteered for a search and met these tireless, doggedly tenacious people on the ground. CUE is entirely donation funded and staffed by volunteers, including Mrs. Caison, who takes no salary from the organization. This is one organization that I believe is not motivated by money or fame, but truly serving the greater good, serving families and assisting law enforcement. The following is a list of FREE services provided:

I heard about Community United Effort (CUE) while I was following the disappearance and murder of Morgan Harrington. I looked into the organization and I was very impressed with Monica Caison and the professionalism of her organization. I was very interested in volunteering and finally joined 3 1/2 years ago. Since then I have become a Board Member and I am amazed at the hard work done by all of our volunteers. With CUE, once we are invited in by either the family or law enforcement, we advocate for the missing and their family, even after a missing person is brought home. Many of our family members become CUE members. Monica hosts an annual conference in March and brings together families of the missing, searchers, law enforcement and instructors from many different areas in the world of the missing. It's time for families to help each other, learning about new ways of investigating a missing person, certification in first aid and CPR, etc. I consider all of the volunteers to be a member of my CUE family and so happy I joined.

Not only is Community United Effort there to help organize the search for the missing person, we are there as support for the family during the search and long after....anytime you call CUE's number, chances are Monica will answer. It doesn't matter if it is day, night, weekend or holiday...Not one volunteer, all the way up to Monica gets one cent for what they do and they do it gladly. Some of the things CUE does for the families include...searches, support to families during interviews and getting the word out, fliers, candlelight vigils, Road Tour to bring awareness of the missing and an annual conference for families, searchers, law enforcement, first responders, etc...the conference provides support for the families by having other families that understand what they are going through, education for searchers and first responders and a candlelight vigil that honors missing people that have been found and their family members and also recognition of those volunteers that go above and beyond...Monica gives her all willingly, sometimes missing special times with her own family....

Although I do not have a loved one who has gone missing, I am a missing persons advocate. I have had the opportunity to volunteer with Community United Effort on occasions when they are working near or in the state of Indiana. Each time, I have been in awe of the amount of effort and professionalism each volunteer on the searches displays. Typically the family members of the missing are there. CUE gives them hope and encouragement that their loved one has not been forgotten. Imagine being in their shoes. I know that I would want everyone in the world looking for my loved one. Although that isn't possible, CUE shows them that people do care and they aren't forgotten. And CUE brings in the many resources needed to do a search for someone who is missing. Monica and her team work tirelessly to assure if they need search dogs, they are there. If they need horses, boats, ATVs, etc,, they will be there. This organization goes above and beyond in their efforts to bring answers to families of the missing. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to work with them and very blessed that they have welcomed me to help in their efforts. They certainly are deserving of a spot on the Top Rated List of Great Nonprofits.

Rain, swamps, hot humid weather, venomous snakes, alligators, high weeds, bugs...none of these stop them from doing their important job...helping family's find missing loved ones.

CUE Center has been the only one that has actually done what they said they would do. Not only did they do what they said they would but also did it starting Immediately upon getting my form for submission completed. They continue to work closely and diligently on a 9 year cold case (when they came on board). Almost 10 years now. They have gotten answers that I was unsucessful at obtaining! I have had so many organizations that would say they would help but did not or fizzled out shortly after coming on board with my son's missing case. (usually because the newer current active cases were needing them or the paying one's). I am finally able to relax the stress a great deal knowing I am no longer fighting, searching, seeking answers alone! Thanks to CUE, some of my burden has been relieved! Although my son has not been found as of yet, I feel confident that FINALLY our family has the help it desperately needed all along!

As a State Outreach Coordinator for the CUE Center for Missing Persons for several years, I could list the obvious reasons who this organization is so rewarding - the dedication, the mission, the caring and compassion, the individual talents that so many bring to the table to assist families.
However, it is the nuances that are not seen by everyone which create a long lasting impression on others and me. The “giving it your all” attitude of the search and rescue professionals in all manner of weather conditions is but one example. The hand on a shoulder, the phone call answered in the middle of the night; the poster made at a moments notice; the ability to listen to a grieving family, to provide purpose for the family while in crisis, the lack of judgment, no matter what the victim's circumstance, the unique and always impactful Annual Conference; lessons learned by example; the sense of family; always striving to educate the public and to optimize the chances of locating a missing person; the longevity of the relationships that never end after a rescue or recovery- Rather, they serve as a beginning.
Such is the flow of the Cue Center with Founder Monica Caison providing the training and the inspiration to all who give so selflessly as volunteers.
I highly recommend this non-profit for the highest rating!
Respectfully,

My son Damien Mark Sharp went missing almost 11years ago he was 22 years young at the time. The worst fear is hearing your son or daughter is missing and possabily dead. Who do you go to? who do you talk to? were do you start? The first few days are like a fog hope you have someone by you because you don't remember what was said and what you did. The tears come everyday and just doesn't stop. The CUE knows what to do and who can help. Monica Caison is the best woman I have every met she is strong and soft at the same time she can put your mind at ease. She can put a search party together in hours when she starts her call outs people answer from ground pounders to K-9s ect. I met Monica and the CUE staff on a road trip, and the words I have waited to here was I can help you. Monica and the CUE has. Never have I come across an organization with more integrity, dedication, respect, compassion, professionalism, and care then CUE Center for Missing Persons. CUE's reputation has a solid foundation grown from the families it has served for over two decades, and the agencies it has assisted in that time. The search resources CUE provides are top of the line in their experience, professional standards, and heart... The educational platforms and awareness campaigns, both held at national levels, are exceptional... and their level of family support is beyond compare. I am working on my 5th year as a volunteer for CUE Center and I am still amazed everyday by the difference Monica and the volunteers make in peoples lives. It's difficult to find the passion and drive necessary in one person to dream of, and make successful an organization of such importance and critical work. Yet it took one person to discipline themselves enough to continue with their dream...and turn it into a Community United Effort. Monica Caison is a true community leader, a dedicated hard worker, a talented and intuitive visionary and more than valuable resource to the families of missing persons. She is a "gatherer" of people and resources that when brought together, continues to branch out as everyone's strengths meet and strengthen each mission further. Monica is what I refer to as a "Root Ma". Without her specific gift, her fuel, her drive towards her thirsty purpose - CUE would not exist. To that end...Thank God for all the people stepping up, and meeting their purpose through Monica, those meant to follow this leader...for they have been true heroes in her eyes as well. She has inspired many hearts, inspired many positive actions, changed people and families forever with her support, and has helped where real help was the last thing expected in a sad, dark place for many. This world is a much better place because of her leadership and her footprint will never be diminished. Nor will any of the foot prints walking beside her.

Monica Caison started CUE because she saw a huge need for missing persons and their grief-stricken families who had no where else to turn. For twenty years, Monica has been on call 365 days a year, 24/7 without a break or a salary. While raising five children and being gramma and wife. All CUE donations go toward support of the cause- not one dime goes to Monica or the many volunteers. Monica is the center of a whirlwind of love that gets bigger every day. She is held in high regard by all Law Enforcement agencies for her determination, hard work and savvy in this difficult arena, and is nothing short of Sainthood to the families and the missing. I was lost until I found CUE as a single mom with a missing daughter, and CUE has been there for me and thousands of others. every step of the way.
I do not believe a Greater Non-profit exists in this country. Monica and CUE are held in the highest regard by all who experience this remarkable, loving assistance. Thank You, Monica and CUE. Gretchen Ring, mother of Heidi Ring.

I am a state cordinator, searcher and volunteer for CUE. I am also current Law Enforcement. I have been with CUE for 4 years now and I truly believe in this organization. They go above and beyond to search for the missing and to bring hope to the victims families. Ive met many of those families and they all have shared that they wouldve been lost without CUE. CUE is more than an organization once you are apart of CUE you are apart of something much bigger than yourself, that is truly making a difference. CUE becomes a second family and together everyone plays a part in bringing hope to the hopeless, shining light in the darkest of times and never giving up when searching for a loved one. Monica Caison the founder, is the backbone of CUE and with her leadership imparts wisdom and passion to all she meets and especially the members of this organization. Monica Caison rarely will accept recognition as she knows she could not do any of this alone, however shes one of the best leaders Ive ever known and she is who you want standing in your corner should you ever find yourself in a position to need help with finding a missing loved one. I am proud to be apart of this family!#

Never before have I witnessed such selflessness, love and empathy for people who she doesn't even know and who have run out of hope. She is that last spark of hope for these desperate families. I am amazed at the willpower of this woman and so very proud to call Monica Caison my dear friend. There is no other like her & this organization that defines the words strength & determination. My sister disappeared three years ago under mysterious circumstances. We contacted CUE and they worked with us to localize the search area. They set up a search in the most likely site and had an army of dogs and searchers on horseback to look at a large wooded area. We didn't find my sister, but we know we could never have searched this large tract and discounted it without CUE's help. They are amazing and the people volunteering are so sincere and professional.

I can't imagine a more scary time with no one to talk to than when your loved one disappears! Unfortunately I went through that and the only people I found that I felt I could talk to were the people at CUE, They never limited how often or when, were more supportive and understanding than anyone locally and kept me functional for the rest of my family. I can never express how much I appreciate all they've done through the years and never asking for anything.
These are wonderful people, 100% volunteer organization!!!!!!!!!

My history with this incredible organization; CUE Center for Missing Persons is similar to so many who either support this organization as volunteers or donors. I was a family member with a missing person, my sister Allison Jackson Foy. We were a family who had no idea how to find Allison or where to start, especially since my sister lived in a different state from us all when she went missing. We were strangers in a city and state we knew nothing about and in a world (the world of the missing) that we knew even less about!

The police were of little help at the beginning of Allison's case because they believed my sister was a walk away, they refused to listen to my family when we said Allison would never just leave without her children. They knew better then her own family and they left us to fend for ourselves in this city we knew nothing about. We found ourselves in areas we had no business being in and trying to get Allison's face and information out there without much luck, or many people caring.

All of that changed when CUE Center and founder Monica Caison entered the picture. Monica was the first person to truly listen to us and believe that Allison was not a walk away, the first to really care and understand what we were going through. From the night she returned our first call, to now almost 10 years later CUE Center, Monica Caison and their arsenal of professionals have been there; searching, advocating and getting Allison much needed press while teaching us how to navigate the unknown.

Allison would have never have been recovered almost two years later with out this organization. Today they remain by our side as we seek justice and final resolution for Allison, we await on an arrest in her case and CUE continues to work with us and stand by our side. This organizations knowledge, experience, compassion, empathy and genuine concern go above and beyond any that I know, leaving a family with hope, something that a family with a missing loved one needs so much. This organization also lets you know that you are not alone.

My experience with CUE led me to become an active volunteer in the organization with a personal goal of helping other families dealing with a missing loved one, after all who better than someone who has walked in your shoes. Today I am one of the NJ State Outreach Coordinators for CUE and proud to serve as a volunteer.

If you are looking for an organization to donate to, this is the one! A nonprofit where no one, even the founder, ever takes a paycheck. All monies go to help get to the next search so families never have to pay for CUE's services. CUE's searchers are all professional and certified, they are a boots on the ground organization.

If you are looking to volunteer and get involved, this is the organization to give your time to. CUE Center for Missing Persons is all about doing, getting the job done when others can't or wont! As a volunteer you will be helping those in need and help bring answers to those who desperately need them.

Most importantly, if you are a family member with a missing loved one, CUE is the organization you want to call. They do so much more than flyers and are with you each step of the way with trained professionals, they are the team you want with you as you become the voice for your missing loved one! I cannot say enough about CUE, it's founder and their volunteers who are based all over the country. This national organization is the help your family needs.

Whatever has brought you to read this review, please know that as a client and volunteer I have never been more satisfied. CUE has been my grace disguised and I can honestly say that in the world of the missing, there is no other organization out there like them, they are second to none!

I first came to know about CUE Center for Missing Persons and it's founder Monica Caison over 6 years ago when my sister Allison Jackson Foy went missing from Wilmington NC. My family and I were all from out of state and we flew into Wilmington to find my sister. Law enforcement gave us the old "she'll turn up", and were hard pressed to listen to my family and I when we told them Allison would never leave without her two young daughters. We gave them all the information we had and we were basically on our own. We made flyers and hung them and handed them out and spoke with people. We tried going to the last place she was known to be seen and sought answers there, but to no avail. We looked in the worst areas of town where we had no business being, but we had heard rumors that Allison had been seen there. We probably would have left Wilmington days later expecting the police to do their job and take care of it all, thank God we did not. Speaking with the front desk clerk at our hotel and telling her why we were there turned out to be the best thing we could do. One day after hanging posters and looking for Allison we came back to our room to find a note slipped under our door from the desk clerk telling us we needed to contact CUE Center and Monica Caison. We did and the next morning she was at our hotel and with us from morning until the wee hours of themorning, searching, teaching us, getting us media attention, and listening and caring. This advocacy, searching and so much more went on even after we had to leave Wilmington and return to our homes ten days later. CUE Center and Monica also educated law enforcement along the way teaching them and my family what databases to put Allison into, DNA needed to be collected and put into CODIS so that Allison could be identified if needed, Physical searches were conducted by CUE and their amazing volunteers, all of this at no cost to me or my family, all of this done with highly trained professional SAR Teams and K9 Teams, all of this done with a love and concern unlike any other my family and I have ever experienced. Almost two years later due to CUE Centers efforts and tenacity my sister was recovered in a low lying ditch a little over two miles from where she was last seen lying next to another lady, Angela Nobles Rothen who went missing a year after Allison. Both were victims of a homicide. My family and I know that without CUE Center and Monica Allison would have never been found and my father and my family and Allison's two young daughters would never have had answers. To this date 6 and a half years later CUE Center and Monica remain on this second part of the journey with us ; the part where we seek justice. CUE and Monica and all her volunteers have never wavered in their dedication and compassion and are always there, still seeking justice with us. In June this awesome organization got a billbooard donated for a year with Allison and Angels's pictures and all necessary information; r minding the community that these cases remain unsolved and getting much needed continued media. I cannot say enough about this amazing organization and it's founder Monica Caison, there is no other missing persons organization out there like them. This woman, and this organization which have helped over 9000 families since their inception are making a true difference in the world. I and my family are forever indebted, in truth there really are no words. Today I am honored to be a volunteer in this organization and serve as the NJ State Outreach Coordinator.

I reached out to CUE in 2007 when my adult son went missing. I heard these words "I can help", and I felt a weight lift , knowing there was someone who not only understood what my family and I were going through, but had the knowledge and experience to guide us through the maze of the world of missing persons. Eight years later I am a CUE volunteer and help search for the missing alongside the most dedicated and selfless people I've ever known. The commitment from CUE has never wavered as we continue to search for my son, through search resources, and all that entails, to the Support from an organization filled with folks that stand with our family!

My son, Michael Austin Davis went missing June 26, 2007 from Jacksonville, FL. When our family was at it's wits end as to what to do next, and Law Enforcement told us there wasn't a lot more they could do unless new information came we reached out to CUE, made a phone call late one night and Monica answered the phone and when I told her a brief outline of our situation she said, "I can help". Those were the most wonderful words a family can hear, when you feel like you're standing alone, now you have someone that understands, that knows how to get searchers on the ground for your child, and also provides support through all of the emotional ups and downs that every family goes through. So I first knew CUE as a victim, and then I began to assist with Searches, went through trainings, became certified as a SAR Tech II, and as of April 1st, 2012 my K9 Jester is nationally certified in HRD land. I've seen CUE from a Family's point of View and also as a searcher since 2008, and have Highest Respect for all that they do, and the way in which it is done. Every search is prepared for well in advance of the search, all searchers are taken care of, fed, housed and appreciated as they are a vital part of all that CUE accomplishes for Missing Persons.

I am one of the long time Cue Members, not as active as I use to be, but this organization has taught me so much. I started when I was laid off from my job. It was the most rewarding thing I ever done. Not only did I get to help families that had loved ones missing, but Monica taught me a lot, of skills that I can use in every day life. Being a nonprofit, we raised money for the group. I learned how to talk to companies to get help with our group, I got the chance to be on the news to talk about a fundraiser .I met so many people that will be life time friends. We also do fingerprinting, to help the kids in the community.
But, the most important thing is helping people that think there is no hope. Cue give the people that have lost loved ones hope and faith, and that someone does cares about them. Even if there loved one is found, Cue stays in contact with the families. This is the greatest organization, they ask for nothing in return for their help

On Labor Day weekend almost 7 yrs ago our son went missing in Wilmington, NC. He was there visiting a college friend. His friend called Monica & by the time we got there, she was already working on finding him. Monica was with us from the beginning walking the streets, putting up posters & contacting the news & law enforcement to get the word out. And she kept us focused through it all. She worked tirelessly with us trying to find him. After almost 5 days someone who had seen the news spotted him in a swampy area under an on ramp to the freeway. He had fallen from the ramp almost 40 ft. & was badly injured but alive. I cannot say enough good things about Monica & her organization. These people work day & night to find missing people "who are someone's children". They are so dedicated to what they do. Without her we may not have found our son and he wouldn't have seen his oldest daughter graduate from high school last month. There aren't enough words to thank Monica for what she does. My brother went missing 7 years ago. It was the hardest thing I think i will ever have to deal with in this lifetime. He was found last year, and the burden of looking for him is now gone. Monica and Cue Center are doing great work for the families of the missing by lending knowledge, empathy, immediacy, and pure drive to the cause of finding these missing family members. I believe the hope they give these families is something you cannot put a price on. The work Monica is doing may well change the face of missing persons investigations in that these cases will become priority and more solvable. This organization is going to put the right light on the cause of missing persons and their families, and give awareness to the general public of these cases. They are the good guys and I hope many more people join them. All these cases are solvable given enough manpower and dedication. Monica and Cue are a step in the right direction.

My son, Eric Lee Franks, has been missing from Saginaw, Michigan since the Spring of 2011. I was told about CUE Center for Missing Persons through a internet friend on a site helping find answers about my son's disappearance. The person was so enthused about this center and convinced that Monica could help me. I got in touch with Monica Caison, the founder of CUE Center in Wilmington, NC. She immediately got back with me and was kind to help spread my son's missing information and pictures. She featured him on CUE Center's facebook page. My son was born in NC coincidentally, where we adopted him when he was 5 weeks old. One of my sisters helped as a volunteer when CUE Center held their annual Roadside Rally in Wilmington this year. I was unable to attend, but was pleased to see Monica Caison and my sister, Debra Turbeville, holding posters of Eric along with many other missing persons' posters. The media was there and spoke with my sister. This past month, my sister, Debra, and another sister , Faye Stanford and I went as volunteers to Florida for a search and candle light vigil for missing man, Austin Davis. It was a learning experience to watch as Monica and her volunteers worked tirelessly to help find him. We were treated warmly and were allowed to put out missing fliers and posters for my son, Eric. Later this year, we will be thankful to be a part of the CUE Center for the Missing's 11th annual " On the Road to Remember" tour across various states to let families of the missing have time to publicly pay tribute to their missing person. Our family will be hosting something in honor of Eric in Michigan. I truly appreciate all of the help Monica Caison and the CUE Center for the Missing has done for Eric and his family as well as for so many others. I am proud to be associated with an effort such as that and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you for the opportunity to again thank Monica Caison and the CUE CENTER for the Missing . Can you imagine an organization whose leader works tirelessly on behalf of people she has never met and for $0.00? Can you imagine a woman who inspires others to volunteer to crawl through crocodile infested water, muddy ground, forests, etc, in order to find someone they have never met? Can you imagine a woman and an organization that provide love, kindness, hugs, tears, laughter, and support to people they have never met before, but will surely know for the rest of their lives? I can. CUE is this organization, and Monica Caison is That Woman! Together, they are CUE and they care about you and me. They care about someone they have never met -- someone's daughter, sister, mother, father, son, brother... they care enough to look for these missing people, and to provide support and hope to the missing's loved ones.

They do not just talk the talk. They literally "walk the walk."

Monica Caison and CUE are blessings to us all. I can think of no better place to put my support - financial and physical.

I participated in a CUE search this past weekend as a HRD Canine handler. Having had some unpleasant experiences in the past with SAR groups I was somewhat leery but was happy to discover that the CUE coordinators Dawn S. and Laurie R. were professional and personable. Search sectors were mapped and marked and detailed debrief reports were completed.
I was touched by the kindness of the family members of the missing women and I was happy to exchange hugs and let then know that others do care about their plight. Late in the afternoon as I followed my dog on my hands and knees through thick thorny brush those family members were my inspiration. CUE is a remarkable organization and I was glad to play a part in sharing Love and Hope.

A friend of our son when missing last August in SC and we went to show support to the family. That's went I met CUE. That's when I met Monica. I was blown away, they had come from all over the East Coast and even further. I offered to go into the woods with a K9 handler and it changed my life. I've since been on many searches for missing people in our area and once to Florida to help look for the son of the K9 handler I first when in with, who's been missing for 7 years. CUE is a group of professional volunteers. They take what they do very seriously and they are family. If you spend much time with them you become a part of that family. Through tears, blood, sweat and love for each other and for the ones we search for, we are CUE.

I hope and pray that whoever reads this never needs CUE, but if you ever are in that situation, when someone you love can't be found, I promise you, you will want CUE in your corner.

When I learned of my nephews disappearance in August of 2013, I began looking for help to find him. I ran across the CUE website online, and remember thinking how I wish they were in SC. About a week later (could have been a couple of days) my brother told me about people coming in to search. I asked him if it was Monica. He thought it was Cindy, but through something called CUE, and he thought Monica was one of the names. I was like.. "Ask for Monica!" Yeah, little did I know at that point, but it was that moment that I sighed in relief. Although that time is still like a blur, I didn't yet know these people, but remember having a good feeling a move was made in the right direction. I had no idea how good. I feel like CUE has saved my family, and am so grateful Missy and Lonnie had someone to be with them, guide them, listen to them, grieve with them. Cindy and George have been been totally awesome. I'd heard George's name so much, had no idea who he was, but knew he was an angel. Through support, the knowledge, the guidance, the 24hr/day availability through it all. Monica has been a lifesaver, and has built a crew that follow her footsteps.
To have someone on your side, that knows what to do, and is prepared to do it, and does it.. no words. Monica and our CUE family. Although I have not met them all, I have met a few, spoken with more than a few, heard the stories of so many, I feel that I know them all. We share a common bond, and as upset as I was in the beginning that I even had to learn of these caring, helpful people, I love them all and thank God every day for Monica Caison, and that this is what she decided to do with her life. Thank you for helping us, for helping so many of the missing, Monica. The lives you've touched, you've made so much better, and like the day we learned of our missing loved one, will never be the same.

Although my time with CUE has been very short, I assure all who read this article, Monica Caison has one huge desire to find all missing persons. She is an advocate, a leader, a wealth of experience, a friend, a Woman, a Mother and a Grandmother. In my life of many years and diverse situations, I have never encountered anyone as compelling and caring. C.U.E. has brought forth the best in humanity from so many volunteers, who desire simply, to help others. No fame, no glory, no heroes, just real people with an inner passion to be of some form of assistance to another.

October 13, 2012 the bottom fell out of our world when our 18 year old son went missing. By the grace of God one of the CUE volunteers is a teacher at our son's school. She called me immediately and gave me the information on how to reach Monica. To be honest with you I remember very little of that initial conversation. CUE was actually on the ground searching before I even knew they were there. By the second day of being at command central, it became obvious to our family why Monica runs her organization with military expertise. She has to be tough because people's lives depend on her and her organization, yet when I was scared, at my most vulnerable and in a downward spiral, Monica was compassionate with me and brought me back to my senses.

On day 15 (missing) we got the call saying the accident scene had been located. While sitting on the side of the road with CUE while the officers on site tried to locate the car, an officer approached Monica and said "We never would have looked there, we never would have found them"

I have so much respect for that officer, and I tell any officer I can the story. Law enforcement has so much on their plate, they are stretched so thin and their resources are limited. It is refreshing to know that law enforcement is able to acknowledge that they can use help.

The Florida crew that was searching that day was on day 7 and scheduled to head home. They would not leave the area until they had completed the areas they wanted to cover. Then when the accident was discovered they stayed by our side offering comfort and support.

Many CUE members attended the funeral services for our son and continue to offer support and encouragement. We owe them, as well as many friends, family and strangers a great deal. I only hope we can do our son justice by paying the kindness forward.

Monica Caison and the whole Cue family is awesome. They are support for the family of missing loved ones and the families of those recovered. They encourage you to never give up and to keep on keeping on. They understand the feeling you are experiencing. When my Kelly went missing Monica returned my call within an hour. It was late at night but she called me and we entered my Kelly Jon Armstrong with her organization. I went to the Conference this year for the first time and it was the most spectacular event I have ever witnessed. When I have questions I can text Monica and she always answers me. She and the CUE family are always there anytime you need them and believe me I have needed the encouragment they give me. I can never express what it means to me to have someone understand my pain and my desperation as Cue has. They are uplifting and compassionate and I couldn't have gotten through some hard times without Monica and Dawn Saffell's help. My Kelly is still missing but as Monica has taught me, never give up. there is always hope. This organization needs national honors!!!!

I first became involved with CUE Center in August 2010 when my son went missing and we were in desperate search of resources to aid us in finding him. From my first call to CUE Center, when Monica told me they would help, the compassion, empathy, and professionalism has amazed me.
In the three years since my son's death I have now became involved with the organization as a volunteer and still am amazed by the level of professionalism, compassion, and empathy. CUE Center sticks true to their mission of aiding in the search of the missing.

I was blessed back in 2006 to become acquainted with Monica Caison and the CUE Center. I have been active in Search and Rescue since 2001 and worked with many organizations over the years, but never with one that had the magnitude as CUE. In 2006 I received a call to respond to South Carolina to help with a Search. I had no idea that it was going to be such a life changing experience.

I arrived at the scene and was immediately taken aback. The professionalism, dedication, organization, and shear compassion of Monica and the volunteers there was just amazing. This day changed my life. I continue to work with CUE and am so very proud to be a volunteer with such an amazing organization. There is such an epidemic of missing persons which many do not understand or recognize. The CUE Organization strives to bring awareness, hope and resolution for this epidemic. A quote that I see a lot comes to mind..... "when the world says give up, Hope whispers, try one more time". CUE will continue to try as many times as needed. Awesome group of people whom I have great respect for.

Monica Caison and her team are the most passionate victim advocates I have ever been around. They provided mounted, k-9 , sonar, foot and water search capabilities. They never, ever give up. I found out about Cue Center for Missing Persons when I went online to create a face book page specifically to get more assistance on Missing Person, Kathy LaMadrid's case. She has been missing from Fort Bragg, Ca since Dec. 17, 2004. I have literally exhausted about every possiblity and every ave. in searching for Kathy LaMadrid . I learned that in Sept. 2012 Monica Caison was coming out to the West Coast to do her" Road to Remember Tour" thru the states of Washington, California and Oregon. I called her at that point and asked if it was too late to get Kathy LaMadrid included in the tour. She said of course it would be fine. We got to host the Mendocino, Ca stop along with David Neily's family and also got to spot light her case again on the steps of the Capital in Sacramento, Ca where Kathy grew up. I can not tell you how much it meant that when she was out here...I asked her if she would come back out to do a search with Cadaver dogs for Kathy. She said she would. We are currently working on getting a search together for Kathy . Finding Cue Center for Missing Persons is a true blessing. Knowing of all the" finds" Monica has had over the years that I have known of her is so amazing. It brings tears to my eyes knowing that we have such a caring non profit coming for us all the way across the U.S. to do a search for Kathy. Just knowing though that Monica and Cue Center are standing by us , gives us renewed hope that we will find & bring Kathy home.
Along the years I have known of Cue Center and Monica Caison, I have pointed families in the direction of her Org. and I have told them her non profit assists families of the missing in hopes of bringing their Missing Loved One home. One in particular that I told a family about was Gail Nowaki Palmgren's family. She had been missing approx. 6 months , but in Dec. 2011 Monica personally found and brought Gail home, giving her family closure and a possiblity to start their healing process.

In Feb. 2013 , I became a volunteer for Cue Center for Missing Persons as a California State Director. I am very proud to be a part of such a wonderful non profit that is heaven sent and that assists any Missing Persons family that asks & doesn't charge. I look forward to assisting Cue Center in accomplishing their goals in continueing to bring the missing home . Monica Caison and Cue Center for Missing Persons are priceless to a family that has no where else to turn.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Dylan LaMadrid

In a small town of WV,in 2002, a missing teenager Samantha Burns, was abducted by prison escapees.Still missing yet CUE Center have not given up the search.Tips have placed them in rugged WV terrain.Their dogs, along with volunteers, help to search in a way no one else could."Their dogs don't lie",a quote so well deserved because of so many false hopes. When searching for the missing. Rumors, stories, and so many I think they are here or could be there. It takes a special group to console the family of the missing.
What can I do?Pray was the answer in return.
This child was an athlete.A granddaughter to two preachers.A loving family.
The escapees are in jail.Death row from a murder of another,Alice Donavan.CUE Center was there to find that missing womans remains.
Not yet put to death that they might know where to find the missing teenager remains.
There was a place on the last search with Monica Caison and a CUE Center group.Where a lot of work and effort went forth from neighbors and family.A truely well organized volunteer group. And yes, those dogs are a special breed, they also cope with the job put forth.

I have been fortunate enough to volunteer with CUE over the last year and have nothing but praise for this organization. Specifically I have worked with Oregon State Coordinator, Michelle Mounts. Her representation of the organization is highly professional and well detailed.
We have been able to assist in bringing home a local medically endangered teen to her family. This was the most exciting and emotional case that I have worked on. You can not imagine the joy felt by all involved when we secured a safe return.
I encourage all to familiarize yourself with CUE's efforts and help as you can. You will be well rewarded with accomplishment and gratitude from the families you assist.

I first got involved with the CUE in 2006, when Monica added my sister to her "ON THE ROAD TO REMEMBER" Tour. My sister Dori was abducted on January 11, 2006, and is still missing, I was living a life of "Time marches on, yet it stands so still". Reliving the day Dori disappeared, over and over, not knowing what to do to keep her name in the press and make her important to anyone that would listen.

It wasn't until a few years later that I volunteered to do some graphic work for the CUE, that I started to learn so many things about how to keep Dori;s case fresh in the minds of the community and in the news. It was eye opening and life changing knowing that I wasn't alone.
Seeing the never ending perserverance and dedication that Monica and everyone involved with the CUE put into finding Resolution for the families of the missing is a very humbling experience, I call Monica the "ERIN BROCKOVICH" of missing persons, because she knows each and everyone of her Missing, and with her straight forward, no-nonsense attitude, guides each and everyone of the families, she is rock solid and believes in what she does.

I am so fortunate to be involved the the best organization I have ever volunteered for, albeit under the worst of circumstances. The CUECENTER for Missing Persons is family to me. I have met the greatest people and will continue volunteering as long as they will have me.

From Newbies, to Long term, we are all in it together searching for the answers we all deserve, and knowing that we have Monica fighting for us, fighting to find our Missing loved ones and doing everything in her power to give us hope, makes me want to do more too.

I have yet to work for the organization yet, but the testimony's from the families at the conference were very moving and nothing but praised the organization. The members that volunteer are very good at their jobs and give, unselfishly, to help find missing people. I hope that I too can contribute something worthwhile to this organization.

I have been a volunteer member of the The Cue Center For Missing Persons for 2 1/2 years now. It seems like yesterday when I found the CUE website in search of resources to assist a community nearby that I was living in. Sure enough, Monica Caison, picked up the phone immediately as she was on a search in Florida at the time and directed me to what the family needed to do in order to register their missing loved one in accordance to the organizations guidelines as well as offer helpful advice. It was not long after that I continued to inquire about becoming a volunteer with the CUE Center as my background and passion in Criminal Justice went hand in hand in the work CUE performs daily for the families of the missing, I filled out the application online. What I found out and felt quickly at the onset is that Monica, the cue volunteers, as well as the families of the missing were in itself, one gigantic "family" of natures own making. Formed by pain, suffering, grief, desperation... Bound by the common-morality of having a missing loved one and within some of those; the desire to help make difference in the future in the lives of other families suffering through the nightmare of having a missing loved one.

I never could have imagined meeting a more dedicated, compassionate, empathetic, hardworking, passionate person than Monica Caison; she is not only these things, she is a driving force to be reckoned with a tenacious toughness that she encompasses in her efforts to climb the mountains in finding resolutions for her families; never to give up. Monica has been a role model and teacher to me and so many others in many forms. Monica is selfless when it comes to the cause and the mission it serves, she shares in her abilities & knowledge by educating the CUE volunteers, the families, communities, & even at times law enforcement. There are many veteran volunteers at CUE whom I could say many similar things about and this is what makes this organization so special and unique in genuineness.
Working with the CUE family daily not only has allowed me to participate in the efforts of CUE from advocating, ground searches, community awareness campaigns, etc.. on behalf the families of missing. It has educated me in multitudes in what all is entailed for CUE to operate it's mission.

Not only do I feel blessed to be a volunteer with CUE but I am also a donor to the organization. I don't typically share this information publicly but I hope in sharing my perspective as a volunteer who is also donor that is able to see the REAL difference made day to day with donated funds, it would inspire others to get involved. CUE provides all their resources for FREE to the families of the missing and to law enforcement. When you hear the old saying "no strings attached" or "it's to good to be true".... literally, there are NO strings attached and it IS GOOD while being TRUE! The CUE Center relies on donations in order to operate. HUGE efforts are made to get the essentials donated and to keep any costs down/minimal in the forms of ground search efforts in hotel rooms, meals, travel expenses etc.. for searchers, printing materials, billboards, and the list goes on and on!! At the end of the day there are still costs to the organization in the ability to provide these resources needed to operate. The CUE Center's network of resources across the country is huge. There have been many times I have witnessed Monica bringing in a special resources clear across the country in order to aid a particular search. Many of these resources themselves are other non-for-profits who donate their time and capabilities but require travel costs in order to get there. This is just one small example of many, in which the CUE Center incurs a cost to aid a search. I can also share that these resources have proven instrumental in actual recoveries made just in the short time I have been around.

Last, I want to share how much I admire the strict ethical standards the CUE Center implements when it comes to fundraising in which they never raise money as an organization by way of using a missing persons name as a tool. I found this to be so admirable in light of all that goes on in the world of missing persons that many are unaware. With that being said I would like to also add there are many families who on their own accordance and desire have done their own fundraisers in support of the CUE Center and the mission as well as become volunteers and advocates for the missing themselves. I find these efforts amazing as many of these families in their grief have been selfless enough to in helping others of the same. It is not uncommon to show up on a search and find family members of a missing person there to support the family of the loved one being searched for. The difference the CUE Center makes in the lives of so many is a true blessing.

This organization was founded by my Mother, Monica Caison. I have seen first hand how she touches people's lives everywhere she goes. She does not think herself a hero, or truly important in this world... all the great people never do. I can never explain how proud I am of not only her but of all the people who took a chance on her. I have seen C.U.E. grow from a filing cabinet and outdated computer in the back of our little trailer and into a small army of people who wish for one thing: to do good. Whenever I receive a call about a missing person, I advise the caller to register with CUE immediately. Monica Caison and the CUE crew are extraordinary. They put all else on the backburner to find the missing person, while assisting the family or loved ones to focus on important details and move through the intense emotional time with care and vigor. They are the experts. They have the resources and referrals; and they work with agencies, organizations and individuals as required for the search. They tender the families, friends and others of the missing person throughout the process of the search, and tender them on finding the loved one. It works. We are fortunate that CUE Center and Monica and her Crew exist. No other organization like CUE exists.

Community United Effort (CUE) was true to its name when a community of searchers from New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida recently came together to support my family in the recovery effort of William I Pound Jr. who had been missing for two years. Each volunteer associated with CUE came along side us and met us where we were. The campaign was successful - the discovery and positive identification of remains will help bring closure to this part of our family story. I was truly blessed to get to know some of the many volunteers participating. Each volunteer has a unique story and most have experienced the pain of having had a missing loved one and many still are living life with the uncertainty of not knowing where their loved one is. Not willing to be held captive by their circumstances or live a passive life in seclusion they have chosen to be an active participant in the "Community"; serving other families in need while continuing their search. I look forward to discovering my role in this Community United Effort.

Monica Caison & the CUE center is seriously a gift from God. This organization has changed the lives of so many. The resources and support they provide is absolutely phenomenal. All of the hard work and long hours put toward helping families find their loved ones who are missing never go unnoticed. They are able to give these families a glimmer of hope, and bring them one step closer to finding the truth and a resolution to the questions they've had for so long. It's so refreshing to know that someone out there is never going to give up hope and will never stop looking until they're found. I don't have any personal experience when it comes to knowing someone who is missing. However, I see the pain it can cause and the hardship it puts on a family, and Monica does her best to relieve that pain they're experiencing. The CUE center handles so many cases, but yet she is able to help every family on a one to one basis. Each case she is handed, she makes it personal. The person she's searching for and the loved ones they've left behind with all these questions automatically become family to her. I don't even know how she is able to keep up with everything she has on her plate, but she always manages to do it, and she does it well. If it weren't for the CUE center and all of the hard work, many families would still have unanswered questions and no amount of closure. I'm thankful that these families have found an organization that will never stop until answers are given! Keep up the great work.

When my friend, Kelly Rothwell, went missing on March 12, 2011, I was more than just devastated. In the days that followed, I knew that law enforcement wasn't going to be able to bring my friend back home. I was fortunate enough to learn of CUE through a reporter of all things. Monica Caison was in the field on a search when she personally took my call. She didn't hesitate in her response, "I can help." This was about 2 weeks after Kelly went missing. I had literally no hope when I made that phone call, but and hour later, after talking with Monica, I felt cared about, I felt that finally someone listened, someone knows what to do because I surely didn't, and the most reassuring thing was that I didn't feel so alone. All volunteers, all of the time, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day - there really aren't words to fully describe this gift of Monica Caison and her CUE Center for Missing Persons.

I first became aware of CUE when my friend went missing in 2010. I will never forget that feeling of helplessness and desperation, searching for my friend. I had no idea that groups such as CUE existed to help families and loved ones of missing persons. I attended a CUE conference and realized that nobody has to go through this alone. CUE's amazing leader, Monica Caison directs this group of dedicated volunteers, who continue to fight daily for missing persons and their families. CUE is a non-profit, all volunteer program. Nobody who works with CUE, including the founder, Monica Caison, takes one penny in exchange for their services. This is a mission of love and a quest for justice...and CUE volunteers give willingly of their time and money to help families of missing persons. Nobody wants to be in this exclusive group...of having a loved one go missing...but, it gives me hope to know that CUE and Monica are always in the wing...ready to search and fight for justice...ready to lend helping hands, with open hearts. I now serve as a state outreach coordinator for CUE, and nothing I have ever accomplished in my life compares to the pride I feel when telling people about CUE.

This organization is amazing. Everyone involved is an unpaid volunteer. CUE helps families in their most desperate time of need and help search for missing loved ones with no regard to race, sex, religious affiliation or social/economic status. Searches can include trained canine units, trained water search, rescue and recovery teams, medically trained personel, and too many more to list here. All of these services are offered at no cost to families. Based in Wilmington, NC, CUE and their volunteers will travel anywhere in the country to help find the missing. I have been involved with CUE for about 8 years and have witnessed first hand what a blessing these people are to the community they serve so selflessly. Every missing person and their family is important to CUE. They are an organization that you hope you never need but if you do, they will be there. I have never met anyone who has worked with CUE who hasn't been touched in a positive way. Even people who have not experienced the emotional turmoil of having a missing loved one( like so many of us in this organization have), once they hear the stories, and witness the nature of this group, can't help but want to be a part of it.

The planning of this search was for execution days Saturday and Sunday only, and planned a month ahead. This posting for this non profit is incorrect, as the organization sent a bolo out to all searchers and that was clearly stated in it's content. This volunteer with the negative comment was a first time searcher and wanted to arrive on Thursday and that request was denied as the organization can not pay for searchers to sit in hotel rooms waiting for a search.

The victims name should not be attached to a negative posting of any kind. This shows the level of "experience" of this volunteer. However, what is most up setting is that this person spelled her name wrong; the search was for Hope Meeks.

There was plenty of supplies, water, snacks items and lunch was also provided free to all searchers. In attendance was LEO, and many of the additional volunteers in attendance were CPR certified and had above standard training of a national level to include SAR Tech II.

The reason the area was visited by a few searchers with the presence of LEO was to assure access to the area and for visual results only, this is done at ever single search. I personally have attended with this organization. The assignments are provided to search volunteers for execution and most are not privileged to other information that the organization may have obtained.

This organization has never faltered in a search plan, even under extreme conditions of weather or locations, however I know first hand due to heat this search was called off for a return of the following day plan in an effort to protect all volunteers and safety issues with heat temperatures.

Any professional search person should be trained to carry on their person, survival kits, first aid and supplies for them and if obtaining a K9 for their partner, three days of mentioned supplies.

This organization has a great national standing in the search of missing persons, advocating for victims and working with LEO agencies across the nation.

I was asked to assist them in a cold case search in Oklahoma.

The search was far from professional and highly disorganized. For a group thats been around for quite some time my interaction with them will be my first and last.

Lack of proper planning

Searchers were delayed a day of searching because monica had not investigated the site prior to our arrival.

- Lack of sufficient communications for the searchers.

Searchers could not reach command on the radio - It presented a huge safety problem.

Any K9 handler will tell you when working a K9 you want to work them either early in the morning or later in the evening - not mid day when its over 100 degrees out.

Lack of support personnel and supplies

Water and supplies ran out and were not replaced

No EMS support - when you have folks out in the field you need to have proper support.

We are a canine team who has assisted CUE for the past five years. During this time, we have meet and worked side by side with CUE members. This is an amazing group of people! The hardships they endure in searching for the missing are often times very difficult but it never deters them from their mission. They put aside their emotional and physical needs and give 100% of themselves to help others. They do this not because they are saints or heros; but because they believe they can make a difference.

Her HEART & SOUL is so deeply dedicated and committed to the plight of the Missing. Her support for FAMILIES of MISSING is unparalled. If we were able, Monica and CUE CENTER would never have to worry about funds again. People who have never experienced having a loved one go missing, CANNOT relate to this issue, but if they ever have someone go missing.MONICA is on call 24-7. Immediately networking ,getting the information online to all MP's ADVOCATES. GOD BLESS this woman and her work. IT IS HER CALLING,and she gratefully answered. August,1984, my life was completely shattered- my abusive stepfather put the word out that my mom had left him, says he just came home from work one day n she was gone -yet her car sat in the driveway of her newly renovated dream house with a broken windshield, all her belongings gone, only our pics had been removed from their frames and hung back on the wall:/ ? we were ordered to
" NOT tell anyone & do not go to the police my lawyer will handle it" well rebel that I have always been, knowing deep in my heart something was very wrong with his lil story.. I ran to the police station, still I have no answers but I have continued on,,,.Because I made a promise to my mom years ago and I'll keep demanding answers and I'll fight for her every single day till we bring her home!

lt wasn't until 2006 that real heroes came into my life and started helping me pick up all the pieces ! First we were assigned a new detective that has been working hard ever since- Then a woman named Monica Caison ( and her van-ful of volunteers) rolled into my life at a CUE Rally Stop that I was attending in Waterbury Ct for another missing person. CUE has not left my side ever since !

Just having someone there that understands and guides you when you're lost , standing at that stupid brick wall again- it means everything but then ... for years and years and even more years, I prayed for a billboard for my mom ... Cue made that billboard happen !

When my niece Brittanee Drexel went missing on April 25, 2009 the world had changed for myself and my family. It was a feeling that I couldn't explain. The fear, pain, suffering, emptiness, sleepless nights always, tiredless efforts and the wondering has been a life challenge everyday. I met Monica Caison the founder shortly after and I had learened what she did and about the Cue Center. At first I was confused and didn't understand exactly everything but as time went on I seen and been there during my niece's searches and seen everything thst the Cue Center does for a family. When something like this happens to a family this Tragedy noone knows what to do, how to respond, who to reach out to,how to act and who to trust. Monica has taught myself gradually just all those answers I had right from the beginning. Trust was a big part for me. When it has to do with a love one in my family whom is missing you only want the Best Search and rescue Team in the World to help us. Monica has made that happen for me and my family and I will say her tireless nights, days, endless support thru out my family even with my youngest niece brittanee's sister, the education and knowledge that she has taught me during this period of time. My niece is still missing as of today May 21st 2010 but without Monica and her volunteers and just herself being whom she is today I don't think we would of reached this level. The Cue Center has made a difference in my life. I have now grown strong and even help as a volunteer for the Cue Center to give back what Monica and her other volunteers do for my niece and my family. The greatest gift ever is to show how much i really appreciate all she does and how she keeps going till the end and when it is the end I can promise you she will still be there for me and my family!! Thank You Monica for all you do for me, my family and so many other families across the country. It's organization's like this "THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE". Love, Keri Drexel

I am so thankful for Monica and the CUE Center for helping me bring awarness to my brothers unsolved homicide for 19 years now his murder has went unsolved. Monica ans The Cue Center helps so many people ans she understands what families go through when a loved one goes missing. the Pain, and the Anguish, the hurt. Most people do not understand what a family goes through whe a loved one has been murdered by someone that has never been cought held accountable. Or to not know where your child is, unless they have walked in there shoes. I praise God for Monica, the CUE Center and all their many Volunteers, they are angels and worth their wight in GOLD!

Monica Caison and her band of volunteers took my mothers case November 2002. Just several days of her going missing. Even though our family soon found out that she was murdered, Monica and her volunteers still went out and searched for my mother. I ran into Monica in September of 2008 at one of her Road to remember tours in Whiteville NC. We spoke like no time had passed between us. It was then that I had decided to become involved with missing persons and had to do something to help another family. I headed up a fundraiser for CUE in honor of my mother. While trying to get exposure of the benefit for the CUE center I did several interviews with my local newspaper. In return Issac Bailey wanted to get my mothers murderers reaction so he wrote a letter to them. One of the men responded to the letter. My sister gave the letter to Monica Caison and she ran with it. In just minutes of talking to me on the phone the day she recieved his letter (12-16-2009) she formed a search for the following day and hit dirt literally. My mothers remains were found by Monica Caison and CUE. Do to their determination to bring our mother home, so we could give her a proper burial. Would never have happened if not for them. The unconditional caring and love they have for their clients is so genuine. I am proud to have met this organization. And honored to say that it is this organization CUE who brought my mother home to us almost six years after she was murdered.

This is a very unique organization that strives to bring the missing home so each family member experiences closure. It started out as a local group that has spread to a national level led by one lady on a mission. The calling was answered by Monica Caison who formed a group of dedicated individuals to look for the missing at times closing cold cases that only with the family remains active. What more noble organization then to bring loved ones home dispite impossible odds. Thanks Monica for caring the cause.
