This program changed my life. I was a 12-year-old who was content to keep to myself and just do my own thing. But then I was a phase two candidate and I was challenged. On phase one staff, I learned more and grew more than I thought was possible. I learned to be a go-getter and a leader. As a phase 3 candidate I learned that there are more ways than you could think of to be a leader, and to step back at times. There are so many facets to it that you can never stop learning. And then as a phase three staffer I strengthened my leadership at home as well as at the camp by living the example, living the application. And I look forward to more of fun and camraderie!

I first got involved in this program several years ago, and i was blown away by how organized and spirited the staff was. This made me want to come back on staff, which is where I've been volunteering for the past few years. I've had an amazing experience.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

everything i do. School, Boy Scouts, my friends, sports.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

build a huge kitchen with a giant refrigerator.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

How much I've learned and how much spirit there is. Cheers, songs, skits, campfires.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

outstanding. everybody strives to learn as much as they can, so they can better themselves.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

buy its own camp and lower the price of the entry.

Ways to make it better...

The camp went for more than one week.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not being very well known about.

One thing I'd also say is that...

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

I thought that White Stag is a Great camp. I learned a lot from this camp, and it allowed me to personally grow. I really enjoy this camp because it gave me experiences that I will never forget. It's unique and diverse staff members has taught me many things that I will never learn at any other camp (or at school). Thanks White Stag!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

camp cutter, tamarancho, and lindblad. Each time i went there, i had a totally different experience. the staff was better each session.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Try my best to STE and be responsible like the staff members.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that i was able to experience so much without worrying about being put down. I was also able to explore my curiosity and find out more about myself.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

really kinda and caring. they STE and represent their level. they also had a lot of spirit and helped me get out of my comfort zone.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Become an awesome camp. It would be able to own its own campgrounds and be able to get more candidates and staff members to help organize this program.

Ways to make it better...

I was able to have some free time with other patrols. There were a couple of people that I really wanted to know better, but never got the time to talk to them.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Sometimes being homesick, but otherwise facing all the challenges that you and your patrol have to face. I felt that sometimes it was very hard for me to communicate with my patrol and that the job wasn't split fairly. (my session 2 patrol.)

One thing I'd also say is that...

awesome camp. it makes me want to be part of the staff.

This a completely volunteer run organization that teaches leadership skills to 10-18 year olds. We need more of this. My son has participated for two years in a row also.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My son's appreciation of the importance of learning leadership.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Try and run it as good as present leadership

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The positive attitude of every person involved.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

All kinds. Young old, male and female, several races and ethnicities. Not sure of income levels.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Acquire a permanent location to stabilize it and provide a firm base for expanding its program nationwide.

Ways to make it better...

Not sure how to answer snce I had a good experience.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Fundraising

One thing I'd also say is that...

I think I have said enough
