Target demographics: Children and young adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Tampa, Clearwater & St. Petersburg areas.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 50 children were able to experience our summer camp program this year. Others will directly benefit from our monthly playdates, fall festival and holiday events

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Help us at one of our sensory friendly events for children and families with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are always looking for people with a passion to help others!

Geographic areas served: Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg

Programs: a summer camp program on a horse farm for children with ASD and their siblings ages 5-15. Mini-camps during off-school breaks. Sensory/Allergy friendly holiday events for families during holidays. Currently working on creating programs for respite care, adaptive sports and agricultural interests.

Mission:
We are a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to enlighten, enrich and empower the lives of families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through our efforts to provide direct programs and services to the community.
Results:
We have completed three successful years of our summer camp on the horse farm program. Due to the generosity of many we were able to create a safe & sensory camp setting for the campers who would normally not have the access to this type of experience. Camp tripled in size from our first year and we had the opportunity to help more families than ever. We are now looking for help from the community and individuals who will help fund the expansion of the program in time for summer 2014 by getting onto our own property!
