Mission:
Volunteers in Northampton Schools, Inc. was established in 1981 to provide volunteers for all of Northampton's public schools. The purpose of volunteer involvement in the schools is to supplement and enrich the curriculum offerings at the direction of the professional staff. The volunteer participation of parents and community members is widely recognized to be a significant factor in the quality of education.
