Mission: To provide a scheduling body for those clubs wishing to affiliate, to promote the welfare of the youth and adults involved in youth soccer; to promote good sportsmanship for and from all involved in youth soccer; to encourage educational courses, clinics and instruction for the purpose of increasing the knowledge and efficiency of those involved in youth soccer, regardless of race, color, national origina, religion or sex.
Programs: Organization awarded travel grants to its member teams who successfully competed at the state level and that earned the right to further compete at a regional/national level. This year 15 teamns were awarded these grants.
to provide annual scholarships to senior high school players of its affiliated members. 23 players were each awarded 500. 00. An application process exists whereby players submit to a review committee comprised of non-board members. Various data is utilized by the committee to select awardees. The money is utilized by these players in the furtherance of their educational goals.
organization expended significant effort and costs toward improving the quality and quantity of referees that the league desperately needs. The quality of the players has exceeded the quality of referees. Organization sponsored new referee classes and provided senior referee mentoring.
