To address the health issues of persons living with hiv/aids
Hiv/aids prevention - prevention programs directed towards men and women of color at high risk of contracting hiv and other sexually transmitted diseases.
disease management - community and outreach services to hiv positive individuals
case management services/mental health & support - services are provided to hiv-positive individuals living in travis, bastrop, caldwell, hays, and williamson counties. Services include: intake and assessment, information and referral, and assistance in accessing community resources and social support. These services provide individual counseling, support groups, and peer counseling designed to build emotional support systems, reduce isolation, improve coping ability and teach techniques for handling complex emotions, physical trauma, and reduce fear.
community education - includes quarterly newsletter, wellness fairs, and education activities available to clients and the greater community.
