Mission:
The majority of consumers routinely purchase, use and dispose of household products that contain synthetic chemicals, unaware of their presence or their negative human and environmental health consequences. Household products are not tested for safety (negative human health reactions) before they enter the market, consumers have been shopping in the dark. CHHC wants to shine the light on household products, share critical health information, and recommend "safer" products based on science--something that is not currently being done by anyone. Our ultimate goal is to encourage manufacturers to eliminate the use of toxic chemicals in household products, thereby improving human and environmental health.
