To promote good citizenship in high school juniors or sophomores through an intensive five day course in leadership (50%), americanism and patriotism (30%) and the American Free Enterprise System (20%). Conducted at five locations in Texas and one in Oklahoma. See also txpef.org for the history and location of the programs in 2009.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

We teach students things that they do not get in high school.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Work harder to obtain additional funding.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The satisfaction in seeing young people progress in to very productive citizens.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Knowing that over 3000 young people have attended the youth leadership conferences.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Outstanding former military officers teaching these young people. This is not a military or recruiting course but a citizenship course.

Ways to make it better...

we could have reached more young people. Money is always the problem as it costs about $200 per student and we have done over 3000 from the beginning.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

money and volunteers to assist in running the program.

One thing I'd also say is that...

We stand ready to meet anyone, anywhere to discuss our program.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
