This non-profit organization is dedicated to preserving America's music, Jazz! They bring together world class musicians from the USA, Canada and even Europe to perform in a World class resort (Sun Valley, Idaho) and they do all this at a price that is very affordable for young and old alike. Since discovering the Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree five years ago we have become dedicated fans and love bringing our friends over to share the experiance. We do have our favorite bands and artists (Bruce Innes Trio, Midiri Brothers, Bob Draga, Titan Hot Seven) but find it challenging as there are over 40 to choose from. Our approach is to first see the new bands and then select our favorites at the smaller and more intimate venues, where we have a chance to actually talk to the artists. If you love music (and dancing) Sun Valley is the place to be during the second week of October. Our thank's to Tom (RIP) and Barbara Hazzard, founders of the Sun Valley Jamboree and current Directors Jeff and Carol Loehr and Don and Joan Veach for keeping this dream alive. Jack & Bonnie Kirk Mill Creek, WA
