Mission:

Stand Among Friends is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that promotes opportunities for people with disabilities to live a life without limits and experience the highest degree of independence and success in their communities.

Stand Among Friends currently offers Employment and Assistive Technology Services for People with Disabilities, Disability Sensitivity Training and Injury Prevention for Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury.

In addition to programs, the agency produces and airs an educational television show on the Education Network in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami/Dade Counties. The show, “Life Without Limits,” discusses numerous topics of importance to people with disabilities.

I have had nothing buta positive experience with Stand Among Friends. These are extremely dedicated people led by Shawn and Lisa Friedkin whose focus is to provide those with any neurological disorder with help,at no charge to lead a happy and productive life... more »
