Park Place Outreach has been a member of the SOUTHEASTERN NETWORK OF YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES for many years. They are my first call when I need updates or advise on our youth shelter. The technical assistance and training are tops. It is a very cost effective way to help keep staff training up to date. SOUTHEASTERN NETWORK OF YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES are strong advocates on the federal and regional levels. The work they do makes a difference.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Sea Haven, Inc. has been a member of SEN for many years. The technical assistance and support provided by SEN has been a tremendous factor in Sea Haven expanding programs in the South Carolina region. As an open minded organization, we value their recommendations and encourage other youth related agencies to become a part of their mission. In tough economic times, the technical trainers have provided over the top assistance with grant webinars that we know have allowed our programs to continue receiving funding. Lastly, we share in SEN's warm and friendly methods that make us feel like we have a purpose.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

serving as the Executive Director for Sea Haven, Inc. and as SEN Board member for 2 years.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The ability to contact other resources and know there is no hesitation in providing assistance.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

energetic and available to offer encouragement and innovative ideas for the programs.

We have benefited greatly from their professional training and outstanding advocacy for youth and families. Our organization, the Florida Keys Children's Shelter, Inc., has been an organizational member of the Southeastern Network of Youth and Family Services (SEN) for many years. Through SEN we receive training, advocacy and opportunities to participate in new initiatives -- all of which help us to be a stronger, more effective and vibrant organization -- better prepared to serve the vulnerable and at-risk children, youth and families in our county. We are better because of SEN.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the creativity, quality and consistency of its training programs, which have a direct relationship on how well my staff work with youth and families.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the opportunity to directly address the issues affecting youth-serving agencies in the Southeastern United States

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

exceptional! Each member of the SEN staff is knowledgable, compassionate and committed to improving the capacity and quality of member agencies.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

significantly improve the capacity of the member organizations throughout the Southeastern United States to better serve their local communities.
