Programs: The foundation supported the purchase of robotic endoscopy equipment. In 2014, south florida baptist hospital expanded the hospitals surgery center by adding 2 large surgical suites and enlarging the post-operative area. The purchase of the robotic endoscopy equipment enhanced one of the newest rooms that is dedicated to robotics surgery. The robotic surgery program supports the advanced care services that we now provide at our hospital.
the foundation supported the purchase of robotic laparoscopic equipment. This surgery equipment also was necessary for the development and expansion of the robotic surgery suite described in line 4a. This equipment allows the robotic surgeon to perform laparoscopic surgery.
the foundation supported the purchase of a vein illuminator. Patient safety and satisfaction are our primary priorities. The purchase and use of the vein illuminator prevents unnecessary i. V. (intravenous) sticks at the bedside. The illuminator allows the nurse to locate a vein much more easily and thus reduces the patients stress when having this procedure.
