Reviews for Skagit County Community Action Agency
Thank you for the opportunity to write a review for this fine organization. In Skagit County we have a tremendous need in our community for shelter, basic education, medical needs, and basic needs assistance. The work that our Community Action Agency does is critical to the health and well-being of our citizens and our way of life. I encourage anyone who can to take a tour of the current facilities that serve over 50,000 people a year to do so. They are in desperate need to expand the space they work in. The offices they serve our friends and neighbors in are crowded and there is no privacy for those that need medical assistance or crisis intervention for abuse or other issues. My husband and I made the decision to help them out with time and a monthly donation to help see them through a capital campaign that will extend their facilities by several thousand square feet. If you look at how your donation is spent you will understand that the delivery on every dollar they receive is highly efficient and direct to those in need. I encourage you to donate to this critical organization in Skagit County. It is a smart investment and a great return on your dollar.
