I adopted a dog from Sheltered Paws last year and it was a wonderful experience. My dog had been taught basic obedience and was housetrained while in foster care, so it was an easy transition into our home. We would never consider buying a dog or puppy while there are still dogs waiting in shelters.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the wonderful dog that is now such an important part of our family. To think he could have been put to sleep just because there are not enough homes makes me very thankful to have him!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

knowing that I helped save one dog - it may not seem like much when compared to the thousands of dogs in shelters, but to this dog, it made all the difference in the world!!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

wonderfully kind, knowledgable and compassionate!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make a tremendous difference not just in one dogs life, but many dogs lives!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

They do a great job in helping match people with the perfect dog to adopt or foster. They are honest when it comes to the problems or difficulties that a dog may have. Everyone at Sheltered Paws puts the dogs first. A GREAT organization to adopt from or volunteer with.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

fostering dogs in my home, and seeing them get adopted to their forever home. Very rewarding.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

friendly and easy to talk to.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save so many animals from life in the shelter.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
