Shelter Partnership provides a variety of necessary resources for nonprofits in Los Angeles. Their staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. After our shelter had a fire in 2013 they provided furniture to help us open our new facility. We love Shelter Partnership!

We are a non profit organization serving one of the largest area of homeless youth in Los Angeles and if not for Shelter Partnership we would not be able to provide homeless youth and household with the things to bring life to a home. We value the relationship that we have with Shelter Partnership and we wish nothing but continued success.

Participant 2 is a busy mom to four growing girls, who get clothing every quarter from the Shelter Partnership Resource Bank. The assorted girls’ clothing available for the Back-to-School months has been particularly helpful. Participant 2 stretches her financial aid dollars as far as she can every month, but there are still some months when she’s glad to be able to turn to the Shelter Partnership Resource Bank for a box of diapers for her youngest child, tiding the family over until her next stipend.

Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (HCHC) is grateful to Shelter Partnership for the reliable source of hygiene products, cleaning supplies, toys and clothing that are critical components of HCHC residents' housing stability. Every quarter, HCHC is able to pick up enough goods to supply 50+ households with cleaning products for their homes and personal hygiene supplies. During the holidays, Shelter Partnership donations bring joy and hope to families who otherwise would go without gifts/presents to exchange. Shelter Partnership also goes above and beyond in connecting unique donations to agencies such as children's furniture for an HCHC family who moved into a unit with no furniture after months of homelessness. Recently, donations from Shelter Partnership helped fill up backpacks for HCHC school age children just in time for the new school year. HCHC thanks Shelter Partnership and looks forward to many more years of working and collaborating together.

Shelter Partnership has been a vital resource in providing individuals, families and seniors with basic needs and essential items such as hygiene products, clothing, cleaning products, households goods such as sheets, pillows, bread boxes and cups and back to school supplies for children along with toys for the holidays. In June 2014, one recipient of goods provided by Shelter Partnership burst into tears of gratitude because she was now able to do laundry which prior to receiving the Bleach and Woolite she was washing her clothes with a bar of soap in a sink. Recent recipients of back to school supplies expressed, “We would like to sincerely thank you…for the blessings provided to us, our kids and our families” “Thank you for everything you gave me. I love it. I love the princess book, Dora coloring book…and everything that was inside the pencil case. Thank you for making a fun start at school.”
HCHC is extremely grateful to Shelter Partnership for the many blessings given to our residents and looks forward to many more years of bringing vital resources to those with great needs.

San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, Inc. has been partnering with Shelter Partnership for nearly 15 years. They have been providing essential supplies and basic needs to our clients. This includes household items, clothing, blankets and personal hygiene items. Shelter Partnership’s support has a direct impact on our ability to provide critical services to the most vulnerable, chronically homeless and mentally ill individuals in the Valley.

Shelter Partnerships donation have aided many of our programs and services for many years. Working in healthcare in Los Angeles communities means treating not only a persons ailments. Being able to offer hygeine items, clothes, children's toys, and so much more goes a long way with our clients. It is great to offer a child waiting with his/her parent a small toy. Or to have clothes on hand to offer someone in need. Shelter Partnership has truly been a partner and we look forward to continuing to work with them.
